Here is the Wattage breakdown measured with a Tacklife EM02 Classic Power Meter Energy Watt Voltage Amps Electricity Usage Monitor Tester with Overload Warning, LCD Display for Saving Energy CostElectricity costs are based on the U.S. average of 12 cents / kwh run 24/7 :Sleep mode : 3.7w = $3.89/yrlevel 1: 5.7w = $6.00/yrlevel 2: 7.7w = $8.10/yrlevel 3: 12.1w = $12.72/yrlevel 4: 69.5w = $73.06/yrDon’t forget these are costs for 24 hours a day. If you run the 12 hour timer, your prices will be nearly half that posted here.Level 4 is a Turbo mode which will super succ the air so it is high wattage for good reason. When you turn on Turbo mode you know why it the wattage is that higher. This Winix 5300-2 model is also Energy Star certified for good reason.Of course your mileage may vary on these costs as these are just averages. But you’re likely to be on level 1 most of the time unless you live in a smoggy/smokey area. These energy costs should convince you to run your air purifier 24/7 unless you’re really tight for money.5/8/2018 EDIT ⏰⏰::She still works great!! I haven’t had my annual Spring allergies at all since using it still!!😍I just changed one of the black carbon filters cause it was getting very dusty. Amazed at how much dust this thing picked up in the short 4 months I had it!9/27/2019 EDIT:Over a year later and she’s still kickin dust mite poop and pollen outta the room! I even bought a second one for the work room in my house. No problems!

Arrived on time. I’m a smoker (cigarettes, what were you thinking?), and the smoke used tovwaft in the air of my studio apartment like floating sheets. Now? All gone. I can have baked garlic and anchovies for dinner and, within 15 minutes, you’d never know (unless you kissed me, of course). Whisper quiet unless on the highest setting.Four stars instead of five because the “air quality sensor”, which supposedly adjusts strings based on air quality, is . . . eccentric. A summo wrestler could fart straight at the machine and it wouldn’t notice. But in the middle of the night — no smoking, no cooking, nothing — it will decide the air is foul and turn on high. Always curious: just what does it sense? Sound sleep?

The device is okay but there are a few things that are not needed and could be better.1. The light is nice but why is there no simple infographic explaining it.2. The filters are way overpriced! YIKES! Keep the price lower and you’ll have more customers.3. What is with that music? That night setting? It’s not that useful. The smoke filter works pretty good, but not good enough for smoke in the house. It could be improved. The filters are easy to put in, but the reset button that is so not good. Why do we have to use a pin?We don’t need the chime, but I suppose if you are blind that is nice. The settings are quiet barely move air to SUPER LOUD BLAST. So set it accordingly people.Might want to go with a washable air filter at the cost of the filters. It’s rather large, but it is a small easy to move size.Good things about itThe chemical tester does work. The smoke filter is okay not perfect, but better than nothingPrice is not horrible, could be cheaper say 99
