The Vitamixr A3500 blender lets you choose from five program settings-smoothies, hot soups, dips and spreads, frozen desserts, and self-cleaning-that automatically adjusts to the container size you’ve selected, process and stop automatically.
Variable speed control allows you to refine texture, from the chunkiest salsas to the smoothest purees.
Use the pulse feature for a burst of power to chop ingredients and knead dough. Included tamper presses down on thick and frozen mixtures toward the blades without having to stop and scrape the sides of the container.

Hi, I bought my Vitamix Ascent 3500 on april 5th 2018 on Amazon, but started using it in July 2018 since i was moving out of my apartment to a new house and in the meantime I used the ninja blender that I had for the last 3 years. To my disappointment, while using my Vitamix on July 15th (after the 10th time i was using it!) to make a smoothie, a burn smell came out of the blender and the error code E3 2-2 appeared on the digital display. I immediately switched off the machine. Then, I tried to switch it on again but the error code was still showing and the Vitamix would not start. After a few hours, the Vitamix started working again, but when I increased the speed, the noise was unusually loud, the display symbols were blinking, the machine started moving by itself on the counter top due to the vibrations, a burn smell came out of it and the same error code appeared on the digital display.After a couple of hours, I switched on my Vitamix again and it was working fine until I increased the speed above 6. This time a burn smell came out which is not normal and not safe !The Vitamix Ascent 3500 blender is three times more expensive than my Ninja blender BL772 which still works fine after 3 years of daily use (from frozen smoothie to almonds butter). With all the reviews, I really had high expectations about the Vitamix performance, but to be honest, I no longer trust the product. Instead of being an ally in the kitchen, it became a threat and I do not want this I my home. I will send it back to Amazon where I bought it and request full refund based on the safety issues the Vitamix presented over the last 30 days. This product did not convince me at all and I will for sure not recommend it to anybody.I have a few pictures and videos of the product malfunction, so if Vitamix wants them to improve their product, please have them contact me.

We almost always use the smaller cups, for smoothies & ice coffee. The cups are much larger than equivalent cups from Ninja, for instance — overall an advantage, I’d say.The auto functions are nice. The caps are a little unwieldy to twist without damaging their hinges, but they are airtight. These cups can also be hung on just a finger if you have your hands full of things.The biggest concern I have, though, is in safety. Using the cup, it has twice twisted itself off while running, spinning liquid all over the kitchen, exposing the =very= dangerous blade. One time I cut my hand on it, a cut which could have been much worse than it ended up being. I feel like I have to hold the cup every time now to be sure it doesn’t twist itself off while running.

Amazing, so happy with it. My family and I have been using it to make smoothies everyday and amazing ice cream too! Great speed and super smooth consistency. This is our first Vitamix. I used to juice a lot but found the juicers a hassle to clean. Vitamix is so easy to clean that I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a cold-pressed juicer again :p Plus this particular model is also dishwasher safe.One thing though, I tried using it to cook hot soup by dropping freshly cut veggies into it, but I didn’t know Vitamix cooks it differently from the normal process… The ingredients don’t get properly “cooked through” like they would if you were to cook them in a pot, so some veggies like onion could be really bitter if dropped directly into the Vitamix. Understanding that I have to cook them in a pot before dropping them in, I just didn’t use the hot soup function as much anymore. That said though, other functions work perfectly. The smoothie function actually works better at fast cleaning than the actual cleaning option.Am looking into buying a smaller container for smaller batches of food like icecream & spreads, etc.All in all a great product and can’t be happier with it 🙂

OMG!1!1 Best investment i ever made. I’ve only had it for a few weeks and i don’t know how i lived without it. I make almond milk, nut butter, smoothies, juicing, sauces……. This machine replaces a food processor and a juicer. Worth the money. I already started losing weight due to the healthy foods i can make with this blender. Very smooth for those who are texture people like myself, and efficient.

I 1st ordered thru Vitamix but after waiting 2 days for a response I called. They were very courteous and explained they supply their suppliers 1st and they were out at their warehouse . So I ordered thru Amazon on Tuesday and got it Thursday. FedEx delivered a day early from what was on the tracking. And I am SOOOO glad it did because it snowed here in Houston overnight so I woke my sons up with the high pitch noise making Hot Chocolate. ha ha 2 cups milk, 1/2 C (90g) semi sweet chocolate chips, 1/4 C (25g) Cocoa Powder, 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice and drizzled some more honey in at the end. It was a huge hit with my twin 7 year olds. Something I could of never pulled off in a sauce pan on the stove. Very Happy Mom!

This is an amazing professional machine that is beautiful on my counter! Makes THE best smoothies, that are actually smooth! No lumps what so ever! I love the pre-programmed features (though I thought I would never use, but I was wrong!), as I use them all the time and love the self-clean option. I spent a lot of time researching this, & if I was going to spend this amount of money, I need it to be easy to use, easy to clean, and, adaptable to other size blending jugs/ jars, which i plan on purchasing as well. So far, VERY HAPPY!!
