The TSF01 two-slice retro ‘50s-style toaster comes in seven colors, and features a powder-coated steel body, a stainless steel ball lever knob, and a backlit chrome knob. Capable of toasting at 6 browning levels and in 3 pre-set programs, and includes 2 extra-wide slots, self-centering racks, a removable stainless steel crumb tray, anti-slip feet, and a built-in cord wrap. Sandwich rack and bun warmer accessories are also available.

I am typing this with utter frustration! The toaster will now only toast one side. With less than two years on the clock, this toaster is junk. I called customer service, and their only advice was to buy another one—wow! Apparently there are NO replacement parts for these junk boxes—once there is a problem it’s literally toast. DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!

This is really a very nice toaster– solidly built and cool-looking with a retro style you gotta love (or not). The toasting mechanism feels solid, works smoothly, and the little dial you adjust to set your toasting level glows in sort of a cool way. The crumb drawer at the bottom pops out smoothly and is nice and wide to catch all the crumbs. It’s amazing that so many toasters seem to have endemic problems– but this SMEG toasts beautifully and fairly quickly.My only complaint is that the cord is thick and gray– and not very pliable. It truly is much thicker than cords on other toasters. Plus the plug is a bit oversized. I wish it had a normal black cord with a smaller plug. If you order this toaster, you’ll see what I mean.

The toaster arrived and we plugged it in. First the Stop button didn’t work – it’s not possible to stop a toast cycle early. Then one side in each cavity didn’t heat up. And then the lift lever failed to function – you can move the lever but it has no impact on the level of the racks in the cavities. So disappointing. I’m in New Zealand so returning it isn’t really feasible. It was an expensive toaster and it’s really only good for the rubbish bin. I will never buy appliances from Amazon again.

Great toaster. Worth the money. I always keep the setting on number one when I toast anything. Nothing has burned. It does toast pop tarts well. I have toasted bread, pop tarts, bagels , English muffins and frozen waffles in the toaster. Made well. Definitely recommend it. Glad I bought it.

Except for the fact that the toast does not get brown evenly on both sides, I love the toaster. The outside of both slots toast the bread darker than the inside. For a toaster of this price, it should have an adjustment knob to even out the heat in each slot.

This thing is junk!! Died at 18 months. Insides are very flimsy. Lever stopped staying down and only toasted on one side. Unacceptable for the cost.

This product looks great, however is unsafe. For the first two times burnt the toast within 10 seconds and started to smoke (on the number low two setting). On the final try on lowest reheat function the toaster made a large bang and cut off the house electricity.

This is a solidly built toaster, that toasts evenly on BOTH sides. Why other toaster can’t do this is a mystery? Love the bagel setting, and the retro styling. Just wish the cord was one of those woven cool black jobs.
