Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away TruePet Upright Vacuum, Bordeaux (NV752)UPDATE January 9, 2020 I am upgrading my rating from one to four stars. I would even give it 4-1/2 stars. This vacuum would have received a solid five star rating had I not had to return the first one I bought when it died on me in less than 5 months. I would definitely recommend this vacuum, now. I use it daily on the carpeting in my home and every other day on my sofa and upholstered chairs and ottomans. My medium hair cat sheds fur all over the place but this Shark Rotator True Pet vacuum cleans it up in no time.UPDATE FEBRUARY 21, 2019 The replacement Shark Rotator vacuum that Amazon sent me is still going strong. I haven’t had any issues with it. It is a very good vacuum and I no longer regret purchasing it.UPDATE APRIL 29, 2018: I’m so glad that I ordered this vacuum at Amazon.com. After my Shark Rotator vac stopped working less than 5 months after I purchased it, a Shark Ninja customer service rep wanted me to pay for them to ship me a new motor housing part. That didn’t sit too well with me so I contacted Amazon and the Amazon customer service rep sent me another Shark Rotator and arranged for me to ship back my non-working vacuum, FREE OF CHARGE. If it wasn’t for AMAZON, I would be out additional money. I am grateful that AMAZON.COM stands by the products that are sold on their website. AMAZON.COM customer service deserves a 5 star rating. This Shark Rotator vacuum stopped working after just 4 MONTHS and 24 DAYS. I purchased it on amazon for $262.34, received it on December 2, 2017 and it died April 26, 2018. I have a small apartment and one medium hair cat so this Shark vacuum was NOT used heavily or even daily. This was supposed to be a replacement for a Bissell Cleanview Helix vacuum that I had for over 10 years that was STILL WORKING, when I gave it away. The only problem with the Bissell was that it was too big to go around and under some of my furniture.I called the Shark customer service and was told that I would have to pay to replace the motor housing part. Why should the customer have to pay for a vacuum that conks out in less than 5 months? The SHARK CLEAN company clearly does not stand behind it’s vacuums. I regret buying this Shark vacuum and would not recommend it to anyone.

I did not purchase this product at amazon for a couple of reasons. One it’s available at many big box retailers chiefly Bed Bath & Beyond where aone of their 20% off coupons comes in handy. However, I did not purchase this at BBB either. I bought directly from Shark(another story all together) for a couple of reasons: 1. They offer some “VIP” warranty which I’m positive is not worth the extra cost alone but also 2. Because they give you a free steam mop and 3. Because I got a couple extra attachments which I could have lived without but for $350 total I was able to get all that plus I received my products in 3 days. The GoodHandsome looking machine with a nice color scheme.Great Suction even more than the new Dyson flagship Cinetic. I think 270 AW but performance in real life is more than adequate.Good brush pattern on the powerhead and made my carpets feel noticeably fluffier and cleaner.Unmatched versatility and ease of use. This is the vacuum real selling point. It is as easy as they demonstrate on the infomercials to transform this into a lift away or canister vac. The powerhead and wand are able to reach into type spaces and can truly lie flat to get under most beds. The mini MOTORIZED brush tool is an excellent tool that I have not seen offered by many manufacturers. Those pet turbines that are suction driven are no match for this tool. The added agitation and uncompromised suction provide awesome cleaning power for upholstery furniture as well as cat trees, small areas where a powerhead is too clunky like stairs, etc.It is a completely sealed system and the filters work and release only HEPA clean air. (Caveat below)Nice bright leds on powerhead and the handle.Bottom line it does an excellent job with cleaning carpets and hard floors as well as miscellaneous things where all the attachments come in handy. It does amazing with pet hair and embedded dust and small particles in carpet. Just go at a smooth slower pace and repeat each area. The BadTad on the heavy side.Power rush bristles seem to be slightly fraying and separating after a week of use although pretty heavy use. I’ll be pisses if shark doesn’t offer replacement rolls. Or at least a 3rd party. The powerhead is on the narrower side I think 10 or 11 inches which is better for tighter spaces but takes more time with open carpet. Now this is real nitpicky. It’s better when configured as an upright as the canister and motor add substantial weight to the machine thereby creating a better seal and pushing the brushroll further into the carpet. Better cleaning in my experience in this configuration. What they could have done was redistubite the weight a little bit so when in canister mode the wand and powerhead don’t seem so dainty. Plus the brushroll config really bites into the carpet and self propels this thing in canister config which paradoxically doesn’t do as good a job with deep cleaning. The biggest and potentially the worst problem with this thing is the internal cyclone technology is just not good. It seperates all the larger and lighter particles but fine dust is not seperates by the cyclone and dives straight through the primary mesh filter and onto the secondary foam cylinder filter. Now this is fine dust and most of it is captured by this filter and the rest by the felt pad and post motor HEPA but the fact remains that eventually this machine will start to lose suction a lot sooner than u think. Sharks recommendation of washing the filters every 3 months are bull crap. You need to be periodically dusting the foam filter after any appreciable amount of vacuuming. Just use your hands outside and get all dirty just watch were the wind is blowing and see how much fine dust you can beat out of this thing. You will probably have to wash at sooner intervals. If u don’t the vacuum will slightly lose suction and you will be prematurely wearing out your HEPA. Also it doesn’t perform well with a large amount of heavy particles at one time for instance I suctioned up a bunch of spilled kitty litter and it sucked it right up but the litter ended up in the wrong part of the bin where the filter is and not in the collection area. A small issue but demonstrates the sub par cyclone criticism well. The cyclone technology in the Cinetic is so good that the fine particles never find their way to the filter that’s why Dyson can claim that it’s filter less. Bagged is better but who wants to pay for bags and it’s cool seeing how dirty your floors were. One last gripe. On low pile carpet mode there is slightly less suction than on hard floor mode. Why? If you wanted to reduce suctionyou use the thick pile mode. The bottom line is it’s a very good cleaning machine for a price that no other manufacture can compete with. You can pay twice as much for a Dyson and not see any measurable benifit and lose on the functionality. You can pray 3 times as much for a Miele and see marginal gains in cleaning but lose on versatility. You can pay an exorbitant amount of money for a Kirby or Rainbow, or Simplicity or Riccar and still not have the versatility that this machine has. And if you vacuum well going smooth and slow and repeating, you can clean almost as well with this Shark. If you thought this was helpful please like or leave comments. I can answer questions as well.

I am not normally a person to write reviews because I rarely feel strongly enough about a product to either rave about it or complain about it. The best thing I can say for this vacuum is that is is indeed truly awesome about deep carpet cleaning. My old Shark must have been dying long before I killed it by trying to use it like a shop-vac on spilled birdseed in the garage. This new one cleans like a champ but that is where my compliments stop.It is heavy and cumbersome to maneuver. My old Shark was a breeze to use – this one takes EFFORT. While is is propelled on carpet – it does not swivel as easily as the old one and on hard floors with no propulsion it is quite a struggle. Then there are the irritants. The little notch that is supposed to keep the cord up off the floor is useless. If the cord even lightly brushes my knee or gets around a piece of furniture the cord pops out of the holder and has to be reset. It the course of an hour of vacuuming this morning I had to hook it back 10-12 times which is a nuisance.Likewise the clip that is supposed to hold the hose to keep it from flopping about is useless. It does not stay attached and also has to be reattached regularly. The dust cup also seems to be a lot smaller than the old one. Might be that it fills more often because the vacuum is pulling more dirt or that it looks smaller being square instead of round. Either way I used to empty it twice – now I need to do 3 – even with one fewer pets in the house.I will not return it – will learn to live with it- but it is a disappointment after a Shark that I LOVED.

I just bought this SHARK ROTATOR POWERED LIFT-AWAY TRUEPET (NV752) Bordeauxand would like everybody to know there is false and misleading advertising in their product descriptionwhich stated the following:’This 3-in-1 vacuum instantly transforms into a portable canister with powered floor nozzle using the canister caddy to make for effortless cleaning throughout your home. In addition, the caddy can hold all your favorite attachments so they’re available at all times. Also included is the hard floor genie bare floor attachment, which offers the ultimate bare floor cleaning experience with a microfiber pad to pick up and wipe away fine debris.’NOTE: YOU DO NOT GET THE CADDY or THE HARD FLOOR GENIE ATTACHMENT with Microfibre pad.I called AMAZON.ca who then contacted the SHARK Company customer service dept. We had a three way conversation but SHARK refused to budge saying it wasn’t included. After they hung up, the AMAZON.CA rep said they would file a complaint, so if you are reading this and it still saysthe CADDY and HARD FLOOR GENIE ATTACHMENT with Microfibre pad are included………THEY ARE NOT.Other than that the Vacuum cleaner has work OK for the week we’ve had it.

We upgraded from a Navigator which we’ve had for 6 years without ANY issues and passed it along in like-new state. I find this one to be a little heavier although not too noticeable since it propels for easy handling. It’s manoeuvers well and the suction is great – it cleans like nobody’s business! The attachments are easy to change and the versatility of this system gives plenty of options for any cleaning chore. The one thing I had noted with this system versus any others I’ve ever used is that after you vacuum- the air smells so fresh- like you’ve cleaned the air also! Highly recommend! Dyson’s marketing strategy has led everyone to think they produce the superior product. Trust me- I purchased this product on sale for under $290- this product is half the price and at least equal (or greater) the product. Save your Money – go Shark!

One of the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever bought with GREAT suction power and wide range of motion that can clean all corners of the room accentuated by the LED light by the front. Its accessories are really helpful and it’s really easy to dump the dust away from the dust cup. Couldn’t ask more from a vacuum cleaner. The only thing that I think can be improved upon is the weight of the cleaner; it’s a bit heavy when you have to hold it to vacuum the floor and it’s a bit difficult for somebody who has arthritis and/or who’s elderly. And when you lift off the main vacuum body and put it on the caddy, the cord connecting to the vacuum body is too short and so many times would pull the vacuum down and make it fall on the floor. If Shark can improve on that, this vacuum would be the most perfect vacuum in the world!

Although it didn’t come with the canister caddy as advertised, Amazon worked hard to rectify the issue. The vacuum itself is amazing. Best one we’ve ever used hands-down. We have two young boys, 2 large dogs and three cats and this vacuum has performed wonderfully. It is NOT heavy as suggested by some other reviewers, it is quite, and it is so versatile. The included powered pet brush works so well on the stairs and couches. The vacuum is well worth the price and I would highly recommend it.

That is not my first Shark and I love all of them. But this one exceeded all my expectations. It is a real monster. I do not understand where does it find all this dust? I mean it find dust after its Shark sister which is rotator lift-away which is a great vacuum too. But this is the greatest. How can anybody even try to compare it with Dyson? Dyson has no single chance to withstand the competiotion. It has no technology. The best technology shark had is COmplete Seal when all dust contains inside the vacuum and nothing is blowing back out. Shark the only vac on earth which get it. Another one is Edge Cleaning which means it cleans the borders of the room and you do need to pull the wand out. Thank you Shark. Your engineers are genius.

Have been using this for a while, what an amazing vacuum. I love the cleaning power and maneuverability of it, especially when the canister is removed from the handle. The power head will go completely under my sofa and beds. I seen some reviews complaining about it feeling top heavy but I didn’t find that and neither have my wife or kids. I also love the mini power head, which is belt driven by a small motor, NOT VACUUM, like a lot of manufacturers do, including Dyson; those vacuum type heads don’t work well at all, especially after some use.My only complaint about this vacuum would be when you remove the canister from the mounting to get the wand under furniture, or to use on hardwood and stairs. It would be nice if it came with the cradle with wheels that Shark makes, which turns it into a canister you can pull around. It’s a bit of a pain walking around trying to hold the cord, the wand and use it. Most of the time I leave the canister mounted though.

I love this vacuum! This is the third of this model that I’ve purchased and pleased as punch that I got it on sale!!! I’ve used a LOT of different vacuums over the years and this one is the most versatile and easiest to use! I like the fingertip controls on the handle, lots of lights, even when you’re not using the power head there’s a light. Comes with attachments that make sense (although I really liked the hardfloor pad cleaner that apparently they discontinued) and one of the best things is the little power head, its actually POWERED, not just “turbo”! switching between upright to canister or just using the hose is SUPER easy and quick. It’s *moderately* inexpensive, and relatively sturdy… no, they don’t last forever but I’m pretty hard on my vacuums. I bought this one while still having a working one to get the sale price… now I have 2, and that’s ok

I looked a long time for a new vacuum. Everyone talks about the Dyson brand, but I read mixed reports of them; some models are better than others, and all are pretty pricey. I ended up buying this Shark because of all the reviews I found on-line, and yet this unit is much cheaper. I read reviews from many sources because I don’t trust just reading a few… they can be faked. This machine has powerful vacuum suction, it gets all the cat hair. It’s very versatile with lots of attachments and configurations. It’s easy to empty and I don’t need bags anymore! I can say that the wand is a little heavy and my hand tires after a while. In fact, the unit itself, is a little heavy. When I have it in upright mode, it wants to run by itself and is a little hard to control. However, I found that it’s easier to carry the canister in one hand and direct the wand and beater with the other.I’ve had it only a coupla months… we’ll see if it lasts.

Owned a lot of pets during my life so a lot vacuums as a result. This one is the most powerful so far and picks up dog hair like crazy. The container is also super easy to take off the unit allow you to use the head (which still rotates) to go under beds and chairs etc. It also makes doing stairs a breeze. My only negative comment is that while the machine can hold some of it’s own tools on built in holders, the tiny power brush does not fit anywhere and as a result, you are forced to carry it around or buy the optional caddy. Great machine though!

Okay vacuum. Good suction, good concepts like the lift away mode which is super handy. The light is also a great function. I would give this product a higher score if it wasn’t for the fact that hair gets stuck in the brush like crazy!!! After just one use you have to clean more hair out of the brush than there is in the canister. I would not buy this product again for that simple fact as it is very frustrating always having to clean that brush even after just doing a quick vacuum. Might be a good vacuum if you don’t have any pets but really not good for myself as a pet owner.

After being used to a built in vacuum, this has been a bit of an adjustment. But I like all the tools, the pet tool in particular works very well. Being able to change it from an upright to a canister is great. It is very powerful and picks up everything. It is very flexible around corners and rolls smoothly. The only thing I noticed, which is not an issue for me at this time, is that it is a heavy machine when you are using the upright.

I called before I purchased vacuum. I specifically asked if the dusting brush was included. I repeated my question and called it the “finger” brush for blinds and dusting. The rep said it was. It isn’t. The vacuum style looks nice. It seems to have good suction. I only tried it a few mins. It doesn’t have the swivel action like my old Shark. When you turn it on, it pulls very hard. It made it tiring to use.
