Bought this cooler for an upcoming camping trip. Filled it 3/4ths the way up with ice on 3/16/19, opening the cooler two days total to check progress. On the 6th day when I checked it, the ice was slush. The product claims 10 days of ice. I live in south Florida and it’s been around 70 and breezy which is very cool for us. The cooler is in a covered area outside. Unimpressed with the the cooler, never had a yeti so I have nothing to compare but at $320 I would have liked there to be more ice left. It does feel sturdy and the walls are thick but sound hollow, the interior vs exterior height is 3 inches less than a similar yeti which I’m assuming is 1 1/2 inches less of insulation on the top and bottom.

Ordered this massive cooler, which weighs 60ish pounds dry to use on outings at my farm on weekends. I have a similar size Yeti on my boat and the construction of this RTIC seemed very similar in quality. HOWEVER, RTIC does not stand behind its products. This cooler was shipped to me scuffed up and tossed around, the packaging was barely hanging on. I asked to return it via PRIME and RTIC offered me a $30 partial refund to keep the cooler and live with the scuffs, I was happy with that….A couple months later, I start using the cooler and notice that it only holds 60lbs of ice for a couple days, and within 1 week, the contents are at ambient temperature! Ok, I said to myself, not like I NEED anything in there to stay cold for a week; now I have an expensive, heavy cooler which performs no better than a $50 Coleman. Another couple months go by, and I notice a pooling of water underneath the cooler sitting on my truck tailgate, lift it up and sure enough there is a crack in the bottom, surely it was part of the damage incurred being tossed around in shipping. I called RTIC this morning, assuming that a company which sells $400 plastic boxes would treat customers well and help me out…NOPE. The lady said that was wear and tear and warranty dept would not cover such damage. I will be adding this to the collection of trashed 90’s coolers used to store harvested game on ice until processing and stick with YETI from now on. I’m a hunting guide, also have a recreational fishing boat and own a retail sporting good store…will be sure to tell this story as I’m passing drinks around out of my Yeti coolers 🙂

I recently bought this rtic 110 and I live in Alabama and well if you have ever been in the Alabama summer you know the heat we deal with loaded the cooler down that Thursday morning with drinks for the family for our camping trip sat outside the camper under the awning for 4 days held ice great! Didnt think nothing about it loaded everything up went home keep in mind this cooler sits in the bed of my truck the next Thursday evening I went to get a water and still had ice! I would recommend this cooler to anyone and everyone!

I went with the RTIC due to the savings vs competitors. 5 day labor day camp trip, in and out of cooler all weekend. Even left it in the truck bed after we can home and emptied Tuesday…Still full of ice. used a 20 lb bag over drinks and food and then put a 5 lb bag just to have ice for drinks. Still had 75% of the 5 lb bag left. Short version is this cooler works. It is a very heavy cooler though, especially when full. It has rubber pads on the base, but they are removable. very happy overall with the purchase.

I found the RTIC cooler to be all advertised to be and then some. After transporting a load of frozen products over 500 miles we let the ice sit just to see how long the cooler would remain cool. At 9 day we emptied the water and found the cooler to still be cool enough to keep food spoiling. A great investment.

Awesome cooler! The 110 qt cooler is great for pool parties, or extended camping trips. Picture is two cases of beer, two gallon jugs of water, and 40#’s of ice and it’s only half full. Keeps ice 5-7 days in July in NC when kept in shade in pool cabana.
