This Oster toaster/convection oven replaced my 11-year-old Euro Pro X, and I’m very happy with it! It toasts my English muffins and bagels just the way I like them, and I’m glad to be able to bake foods without the greater heat that my stove adds to the kitchen. I like the way the controls are set up, easy and uncomplicated. Reheating leftovers is also much better in a convection oven than in the microwave! The directions which come with this unit are simple and straightforward. A 12-inch pizza will fit fine inside, and a 9×13 pan will fit as long as it does not have handles. (If you’re using a glass casserole dish with handles, the largest size you’ll be able to use in the Oster is an 8×11.) I am attaching photos: 9×13 pan with unit door open and door closed, 12-inch pizza pan with door open and door closed, and broiler pan with the unit door open. I haven’t had it long enough for anything to go wrong, and thus far it seems like a steal at $65. Yes, I can definitely recommend this one!UPDATE 12-27-16: I’ve now had my Oster toaster/convection oven for about two months, and it has virtually replaced my full sized oven. As a senior lady who lives alone, it’s ideal, the perfect size, and I don’t have to bend over to take pans out of the oven! 🙂 I will say, for whatever reason, my Otter heats on the high side, faster than I’d see in my big oven. A frozen pizza, for example, which should take 15 minutes at a 400 degree setting, will be fully cooked in my Oster in 9-10 minutes on a 350 setting; higher/longer and it would burn. I admit I’d like it better if the time(s) were more on target with recipe instructions, but I’ve had to adjust temp/time and it’s OK for me. I still love this thing!

I LOVE everything about this product! I’v only had it a few days, but I I cooked a small pepperoni and cheese pizza in it today, and put my own veggies including pineapple on it and it was yummy! And so quick to fix. It is so much easier to use than the kind of toasters that have hard to turn knobs, especially if you have arthritis. I wrapped some aluminum foil around the crumb tray and after each use I just slide it out and brush the crumbs off. It’s easy to clean with just water and mild dishwashing liquid. The complete toast and pizza functions are on page “English-5” and not where I expected them to be closer to the beginning of instructions, however they are all very easy to follow. I am still experimenting with different foods I want to toast, bake, or broil so I may comment on that later. One other advantage not mentioned in the instructions is something another customer noted and that is since the top of the toaster gets warm, it makes an excellent plate warmer! I had not realized what a difference it made to eat my pizza on a warmed plate.I just wanted to add that I have now had this Oster for about a month and the crumb tray does NOT need a piece of tinfoil to protect from spills or crumbs because the stainless steels makes it so very easy to clean! The tray can be pulled completely out and just rinsed or wiped off with a damp cloth. The best thing for me is that this is a must have for anyone with arthritis in the hands. The digital advantage is that painful arthritic fingers don’t have to twist or turn or struggle with knobs.

Returned this immediately. The crumb tray does not fit securely no matter what I do. It leaves a 1/4″ gap so that the hot air escapes the oven. The Toaster setting goes from a low of 1 to a high of 6. The lowest setting was acceptable but very brown. The medium #3 setting resulted in black, smoking, burned toast. I was replacing a similar Oster Toaster Oven that is 7+ years old. Disappointed that Oster cannot perfect the toaster oven after so many years of making almost the same model, Will try a different brand.

***Updated after three months of use*** 1) The touch control buttons don’t light up like I thought. The area it’s in is a little dark, so it’s kinda hard to see the buttons lettering. I will memorize it pretty quick though, so no big deal. 2) When the oven shuts down it keeps blinking “End” till you push the stop button. I don’t mind that so much, but if you want to continue baking, toasting, etc you have to push the stop button, then the bake/toast etc, then the start button again. I would think you could skip the “stop” button, and go directly to bake/toast or start again. 3) ***BUTTONS SUCK!*** You have to push the buttons pretty hard ***AND IN JUST THE RIGHT PLACE*** when making your selections, I find myself having to push them ***MANY TIMES*** till it accepts it. 4) I’d like the light to be towards the front rather than the back far corner, the items are back lit, which makes it a little harder to see the meal. 5) On the display it has the clock(green), which is great, but then it also has two necessary words illuminated in red on it, “power” and “clock”. I know it has power due to the clock display, so these are unneeded, and made me think it was still on when I fist started using it. 6) ***Toast feature does not count down, it stays at the initial time*** 7) Handle gets hot after baking at 450 for a while*** ***It does bake and toast very well, it’s just a shame it has all these little problems.***

I ordered this convection toaster oven to replace my existing oven. Taking my old oven to the lake and needed one for the home so I ordered this Oster oven which is exactly what I had before only bigger!! I was thrilled when it turns out to be bigger that my previous Oster. I love my convection oven. I cook in it a lot especially during the hot summer months. I would highly recommend this Oster convection Toaster Oven.

I’m very happy with this oven. The digital controls, temperature/time are well thought out and easy to use. The interior light which you can turn on and off is great. The convection fan makes a big difference in cooking times and the fan is quiet. It seems to be a very well designed unit. The temperature never fluctuates more than 5 degrees which surprised me. And the size is great. I can cook almost anything smaller than a turkey. I love it!

This is a great oven!!! i replaced my old Oster toaster oven which i purchased in 2008 with this one. I got 11 years out of the old one and i am sure i will be able to repeat that with this one. I hesitated due to some of he reviews which i can now safely say were ridiculous. I love the upgraded to having the oven light come on when the oven is on. the defrost feature works just like my old one did. The meal part of he handle does gee a little warm but it is highly exaggerated in the previous reviews. GREAT OVEN! GREAT PRICE!

The clock on mine runs fast but does not seem to interfere with any of the other functions. Overall I’d say it’s a good toaster oven.

I like when it came 3 days earlier and also it looks really nice on my countertop and it’s very easy to use and setting it up is a breeze.

It was exactly as described. Looks very modern on the counter top. the size is so generous. I have had counter top ovens since they first hit the market back in the 50’s, but they were strictly just toaster oven. Now they are so much more. I don’t use my stove oven, only for storage. The only thing I did not like, is having to set the preheating element for 7 min, and then having to set it again to continue with the baking. That is a very poorly designed feature, which I have NEVER had on any of my MANY previous ovens over the many yrs I have purchased same. I do, although love the interior light, and that is not offered in most of the ovens. I will however keep this oven, I hope for many yrs to come.

This unit replaces a similar item purchased 6½ years ago and provided completely satisfactory performance until a glitch in the timer induced me to pass it on to a nephew who likes to fix small appliances. Love this new model’s improved digital panel.

IT IS NOT GOOD AT CRISPING CHICKEN SKIN LIKE A SMALLER UNIT I HAVE

Very weird to set a 7 minute timer to pre-heat. why not just add more time to your cooking schedule? That’s why I took away a star. However, that’s minor. The fact that it has an interior light is awesome! Plus, it heats way better than the french door toaster oven that I just gave to my daughter. I wanted one with an interior light but the first time I used it, I also realized how much better it is overall. Love it!
