I love the look of this thing, but quality control needs to work harder. When we first turned it on it sparked, arc’d and the little psuedo metallic screen on the wall of the interior blew off. I don’t know what that part is intended to do, but I know that it was not behaving properly.And I no there should not be smoke coming from the interior on first starting up.Back to Amazon….

I was Leary after reading numerous bad reviews, but I loved the look so I bought the three year extended warranty, for protection.So far it is working great does the job for me.The problem with the five star reviews is that, just like me they were written early in the use of the item.I cannot testify to the reliability of this item.Maybe I will be one of the lucky ones, maybe not.Either way I am covered with the extended warranty.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this microwave. Using solidly for 3 months now. Works great. Love the spinning dial. Does only go in 10-sec increments, though. Also has reminder beeps. Hint: Don’t throw away the plate stabilizer. Oy vey! I did that and it still works, but I need to buy a replacement. It got tossed out w/ the box.
