Stay far away from this one, it is dangerous! 3rd use, not even at full temp, the front glass shattered. I mean SHATTERED, with a very loud POP.I wish I could give 0 stars. Nice looking oven, but don’t buy it!. If that hot glass would have hit me, it would have been bad.

We are huge fans of the Nostalgia products, so-much-so that we have the Coffee Maker (fantastic) and the Hot Water Kettle (fantastic). I share this to say that I am not one of those bitter people that enjoys sharing negative reviews. The Convection Toaster Oven would be fantastic if you keep NOTHING within 6-8 inches away from ALL SIDES and NOTHING on the top portion either. Our unit got so hot that it burned / stained the entire front portion of the oven (a yellow-brown non-removable stain!). This company knows the technology how to make things hot. This product is a FIRE WAITING TO HAPPEN. Could this product possibly be one of their “lemons,” not sure if it’s worthy of chancing burning your hands, counter items or your home! I was not going to write this, however, I felt compelled.

I have never written a review. This is a very cool looking toaster. However, I am so sorry I did not return this. There is no safety mechanism for the sliding shelves. The shelves and food and bakeware fly out of the toaster when the shelf is pulled out a little to get the hot item off. It is so incredibly dangerous. I am surprised that this is on the market. I really wish I could return this.

This toaster oven is hard to control. No matter what you try to coax it to do, it will burn your food.I tried to work with this fire demon for a few months before giving up and buying a Breville smart oven. The good oven is a lot more expensive, but since I was burning 2/3rds of my food, I felt it was a wise choice.

I dislike and wish to put a claim on is that we had a family reunion and used this product and the heat created a dark yellow looks burn on the outside paint Surrounding the opening of the toaster oven. we have other products from this company and we are very satisfied with them. we bought 2 of them because we are remodeling our house. we still have 1 of them in the original box please let me know what to do with this situation. I am requesting full refund of both units. please reply as soon as possible.

After owning this for over a year it’s about 11 months over due that I order a different toaster. My biggest gripe; is the egg timer design for toast. If you want your toast how you like it, you had better be prepared to baby sit by the window, because it is almost impossible to get the timer just right. Second issue I had is both top and bottom heating elements run no matter what setting ( bake, broil) is chosen. I bought this to go with my kitchen accents, but it’s past time dealing with this toast burner. It’s ruined it’s last price of toast.

I just received my cute little toaster oven today and was anxious to try it out. This is my first ever, toaster oven and it works wonderfully. I baked a small pan of cornbread and it came out perfect, cooking all the way through. I am very impressed and pleased with this purchase and all of its little non-sticking cooking gadgets. I can’t wait to try baking a cake in it. Thank you for making a great product!

Love the style. Had to get used to the dials, as I used to have digital display. Had to get used to pulling out racks only so far, with door supporting the one side of rack. Otherwise rack will fall out/slide out easily. I have the coffee machine to match. Loving both appliances so far. Hopefully they will last a long time because I love the looks. Brightens up my kitchen.

I bought this and the matching microwave oven for my daughter’s university dorm room. I was a bit concerned because of the bad reviews another Nostalgia product had received, but this seems just fine: sturdy, well-constructed, and works well. I hope it makes her home-away-from-home a little cozier. Just looking at the design of this product makes you smile.

J’ai acheté ce four grille-pain pour le look rétro très cute! Mais vraiment, ça ne vaut pas le prix. Il est très “basic”, simple – pas d’extra! La convection, c’est un tout petit ventilateur, c’est tout. Difficile d’ajuster la température, ça prend absolument un thermomètre… pas de lumière à l’intérieur. Pour allumer le fourneau, on doit aussi mettre la minuterie – sinon, ça ne chauffe pas. MAIS, il est joli. Je le comparerais à un Black & Decker de base. En 10 fois plus joli. Il y a tout de même de la place mais je n’y cuirais pas un poulet… Ca fait l’affaire pour petite pizza, toasts, scones…
