So far so good with my use of the blender. However, I was so unhappy with the suction cup feet on my granite countertop. I called the manufacturer & they said there were no options. I found it odd since I know other models of this brand do not have these suction cup feet. I was able to pull the suction cups out (and still have them to be put back in If ever needed), but it left 4 unappealing holes on the bottom and perhaps the blender would move on the counter without feet. I then purchased black 1.25 inch diameter round non-slip pads that are something like rubber and they work perfect! So I solved my own issue.I would like to see lids for the Shake cup blenders. They could solve this easily to let us buy them separately. This is an addendum. There were supposed to be 3 lids for the cups & they were not in my box! I am contacting the manufacturer to see if they will send them to me. Amazon wants to send me an entire replacement. An addendum: Manufacturer is sending me the 3 lids free of charge.

First off, this is a great blender. It’s super-powerful, and I haven’t found anything it won’t handle. Frankly, I think I could use it as a wood-chipper. The vertical blade shaft is genius, and is better at sucking things down into it than any other blender I’ve had.But.The feet, and most importantly the handle, have small openings where water can get in and mold can grow. If you wash the blender jar in your dishwasher, it’s even worse: a fine slurry of ground-up food accumulates in the handle. There’s no way to clean it other than to take the feet and handle apart with a screwdriver and pry tool. Fortunately, there are videos on YT that show you how to do this. (Taking it apart is easier than putting it back together.)It’s very disappointing, because it’s an obvious design flaw that they have to have known about. The previous model had the same issue, but you could snap the handle apart to clean it out. Instead of fixing the problem, they’ve made it worse. The manufacturers have a FB page with a flood of people reporting this issue. At first, they responded to each person asking them to get in touch via DM, but they don’t do that anymore: they just don’t respond at all.I love the blending power, but having to take it apart with a screwdriver to clean it is a deal-breaker for me.

So I purchased this product 9/26/2018. I only used it for a couple months and then winter set in. I didn’t use it for about 2 months and then today I go to plug it in and it’s completely dead. When it worked, it worked really well and I loved it. Then when it came time for the warranty to cover its broken machine that hasn’t been used much, I had to pay $20 to ship back the dead one. I also purchased the Square Trade warranty just to be sure I was covered but that’s useless. So I’m paying for a year of warranty and it doesn’t even do anything other than take my money and start the clock for a year without having to cover anything. I believe something this expensive should have been built correctly and I shouldn’t have to pay for the shipping because their expensive blender was poorly built. Guess I should have just stuck with my $30 blender that lasted perfectly for 5+ years. The product works well when it works but if it breaks down, hopefully it’ll be while it’s still covered under Amazon.

Initially worked great all around. After two months of use the small cups were not recognized in the base and you couldn’t blend at all. If you got it to recognize the cup was in place as soon as the unit cycled a couple times it would lose contact and stop. I was real happy with it before that but now it is virtually useless.

Initially it was nice, but then within 1 month of ownership the blender is now dead. I now have a paper weight for a blender and cant figure out how to return the damaged item.UPDATE: So its been a few weeks and I have to update this review. So after about the first week of blending I noticed there was this burnt rubber type smell coming from inside the blender. Didn’t really think anything of it. The smell would happen whenever the blender was in use. It didn’t matter what I was blending, how much was in the containers it always had this horrible smell of burnt rubber/machinery. So this morning I am blending and while running the low puree setting I hear a loud snap come from inside the blender. The blender is now totally unresponsive and doesn’t work. This blender was great while it worked but I feel like I received a defective model. I have a lot of friends who have ninjas and some of them have had their blenders for years. This one didn’t last me longer than 3 weeks. Downgrading from 5 starts to 3.

Purchased this item less than 60 days ago, and a very small piece snapped off the base where it inserts into the large blender piece which now no longer works. Did nothing other than the normal things done to make a smoothie. I keep getting the red light which means something was not installed correctly. While the smaller pieces will still blend, it renders the largest piece useless..very disappointed. If you purchase this item be careful about putting the large blender onto the base. This shouldn’t break this easily.

No more do I need to worry and wonder if my green goodness smoothie has left traces of spinach between my teeth, no more do I worry that a stealthy clump of slimy chia seed is waiting to gag me up, no more do I have to blend seemingly forever to get that perfectly smooth smoothie- all thanks to my incredible new blender. It is worth every cent. I don’t even mind the (admittedly) loud noise, my daughter (1yrs old) and I do a dance and sing “wooohooo” when the blender is on- yet another way it adds health and joy to my day. 🙂

Love this machine and love making healthy organic smoothies and my own humus, etc. in it. I like the BPA free plastic. Only thing is cleaning the screw lines in the tops. But otherwise it cleans up nicely. Be sure your upside down cups are very scurely closed and not overloaded, or you’ll make a hard to clean up mess in the turning mechanism. But, it a great machine. I love it.

The motor is powerful and blends almost anything well. But as with other reviewers the quality of plastic is very poor and really let’s the blender down. The big 2.1 l jug broke after only a handful of uses – some small plastic part broke away and it no longer allows to blend as it is not safely attached. Of course after the warranty has expired. Replacement parts are available in the uk but won’t be buying as paying additional £25 pounds for a jug that doesn’t last is not reasonable in my view.

I adore this awesome blender and love every single detail in it. (Don’t get me wrong but in my country is pretty difficult to find a 5 stars blender)I’ve been through quite a lot of blenders in my lifetime and all of them have either not done the job properly or have just cost far too much for what they are capable of.- High Quality product.- Well made, sturdy.- Engineered with numerous safety features, countless warnings ( Caution: sharp blades! ) and each of the blades were protected with custom-formed plastic sheaths, marked w/ ”Caution: handle with care! warnings”.- Easy assembly; directions were clear, simple to understand.- The pitcher, 3 Tritan cups and the base – all were bigger than I expected. And that is awesome.- Speaking of the base: Another safety design I love – underneath on the left and right sides, are pressure-release levers that release the suction cups that secure the base to your countertop.- Easy to clean, Easy to store and Easy to use.Highly Recommended!

Amazing . Blends anything . Cups greet for taking to work . Blend cereal protein powder and frozen fruit .and drink breakfast whist on way to work . Only con I can say is .It’s megga megga loud . My neighbour accuses me of using an electric drill at 6am . And to be fair it wakes the entire house .if it was able to reduce the power manually so it’s quieter when it’s unsociable hours.would be 5 stars .

I got the Ninja after my Nutribullet broke. I was thinking of getting a new Nutri Bullet, maybe an improved version, though I wasn’t sure, as even though it worked well and I used it a lot, it did stop working eventually… So I started asking around, and heard from quite a few that had the Ninja that it’s just brilliant. Some of which have had both in the past, and said that the Ninja was better than the Nurtibullet. I was convinced, and purchased it, and so far, it has not let me down. If feels much more robust, works really well, the automatic IQ options are wonderful (I don’t have to pulse it and measure for how long each time, like with the Nutribullet I had). You easily turn it on, choose what you’re going to make and it does the work for you. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I’ve been making quite a few protein smoothies out of this. Deals with Ice, frozen berries, three scoops of protein shake, banana and a bunch more to make a nice refreshing nutritious drink! That’s all I’ve used it for so far. Slightly noisy at full speed, but I leave it to do its automatic thing and go away somewhere. Not as easy to clean inside if you get a spillage on the unit – but hey, this is really cheap, and compared to a £500-£600 equivalent. you can’t go wrong.

Blended a bag of crap coffee beans that I could not drink. 1kg of coffee beans blended completly in 20 seconds. Amazing. Turns ice into snow.

Love the Ninja product range and have owned a 900w for a long time, upgraded to this model on the black friday sale and it’s a beast – so much more flexible and it also supports the standard cup sizes so you can use all your existing Ninja accessories with this model.Lots of programmes for any type of smoothies or blending you care to throw at this thing! Quick and easy to clean just a quick rinse under the hot tap and you’re done!Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mid-range blender.
