3. To be Ozone-free, this Levoit Air Purifier is NOT AN IONIZER and does NOT USE UV-C LIGHT. Ionic air purifier emits negatively charged ions into the atmosphere of a room. As a result, a small amount of ozone is produced. UV-C light systems will produce “photolytic” ozone when UV-C hits oxygen (O2) molecules. Ozone is an important part of the atmosphere, but ozone is harmful for the lungs at ground level.

Very Small Unit Not Worth Money. This unit is very small and does not move any air. Also, the charcoal filter left a black ring on my light carpet. I will be returning. Not worth the money.

incorrect info (sq ft covered). Awfully expensive for the square footage covered. Per the walmart.com comparison, this unit covers a little less than 90sqft. I contacted the manufacturer directly and according to them, this unit actually covers 129sqft. better, but still fairly expensive for what you get.

Tries hard. This little purifier does an adequate job in smaller spaces. I originally purchased it for my small living room, where I have a wood burning stove and a terribly strong smell of ash. It did an ok job at first but it is struggling now, a few weeks later. I also have one in my bedroom and it works great. I do notice a difference. But it is best for light purification in really small areas. I still recommend this unit.

Absolutely the best. This air filter is far superior to the expensive name brand that I had previously used. Charcoal in the filter removes the smoke effortlessly. It’s so quiet that I forget it’s there. Love it.

I felt the difference in the small rooms. It’s easy to move from room to room. Definitely took the odor out of my living room where my dog loves to spend time. For the price and compared to other pricey ones, it worth it. Fan is overall quiet, you can hear it on the highest speed but not overwhelming (I like quiet).

Awesome purifier. I’ve had this purifier for 5 days and can already tell a huge difference in my allergy and sinus issues. My right nostril is constantly clogged and by the second day of running this I could finally breathe thru both nostrils upon waking! There is a noticeable difference in the air when I walk into my bedroom where I keep the levoit filter from the rest of my home. No more musty smell. If you have any sort of allergy or breathing problem I highly recommend this.

A Good Choice. Simple to unpack and run, works as advertised, has helped with my allergies/snoring/bleeding nostrils but haven’t had the units long enough to comment on the filter efficiency.
