The Leupold Golden Ring 12-40×60 Spotting Scope features the prism-less Folded Light Path (FLP) system utilizing mirrors to compress a long optical system into half its length making for a highly versatile and portable spotting scope.
The GR 12-40×60 lens surfaces are treated with Leupold’s Index Matched multi-coatings for eliminating reflections and increasing light transmission for greater brightness of image.
The body is waterproof, fogproof, digital camera compatible, and ready for anything!

Very happy with the excellent resolution. I bought this based on my outstanding experiences with several other Leupold Gold Ring series optics. I was not disappointed like when I purchased a lesser green ring scope. My aging eyes easily detect optical imperfections and force me to buy the higher end products. You will save money in the long run by getting the very best you can afford and then take very good care of them.
