I had a 6-Speed Kitchen Aid for about twenty years that was a work-horse so I was sure I wanted another Kitchen Aid again. I researched all the Amazon reviews and decided on the 9-Speed, hoping it would be a little faster. I’m not sure it is faster (it just divides them up in more speeds), but it works fine and is easy to operate. I was disappointed that the silver banner with the Kitchen Aid name around the machine was some stick-on tape that had a wrinkle in it. It was applied crooked, but I’m afraid I will tear it up if I try to correct it. My previous Kitchen Aid had a sturdy, bendable metal for the banner and the appliance seemed to be built out of sturdier plastic. The overall new appliance seems to be covered with a lighter plastic. Since this is the way appliances and everything else is made now, I don’t have any recourse in a hand-held mixer in this price range. I have only tried out the standard beaters that come with it, but it does include other accessories in a nice bag to keep them neat and clean. After using this mixer, I probably would have been just as happy with one of the lesser expensive Kitchen Aid hand-held mixers since I haven’t even used the extra accessories.UPDATE: The beaters wobble much more than the original Kitchen Aid hand mixer I had previously, especially at the mid- to high-range speeds. I called Kitchen Aid customer service and asked if this was normal. They said yes, with the new hand mixers, the beaters do wobble more than older models.

I was gifted a Kitchen Aid stand mixer when I got married, in fact, my mom said that she was holding on to it for my wedding day. So I found the first guy I could and married him so I could get the stand mixer. I used it basically everyday as I have to do a lot of cooking from scratch for my food-sensitive family. After 9 years of blissful dough mixing, my stand mixer broke. I was devastated. I had to start mixing bread dough by hand. Like a pioneer (1st world problems, I know). Knowing that I would have been the worst pioneer ever, I told my husband that we really needed to replace the mixer. Even after looking at tons of Black Friday deals, they were just too expensive for us at this point in our lives. We then started looking into hand mixers as a temporary fix for some of the un-breadly mixing needs. And then I realized that these things have dough hooks. I scoured the internet looking for reviews about the hand mixer dough hooks and most people have never even used them. I like to live dangerously so I talked my husband (of 9 happy years now) into getting me this mixer instead of the more expensive stand mixer.The day this arrived I used the dough hooks. They really helped with the annoying initial mixing of the bread dough which was always the worst part. It took it to a great point where I could just hand knead the dough the rest of the way. It’s a little therapeutic, I guess. They were really easy to clean off, too. The dough mostly came off on its own and the little bits at the end easily slid off. I gave them a quick wipe and rinse and they were good to go. These dough hooks are great if you are looking for a less expensive way to help out with your dough making and you don’t mind just a little hand kneading at the end.I included a video of the consistency of the sourdough after just a couple of minutes of mixing. It was pretty sticky at that point, but about a minute after that it was ready for hand kneading.I make my dough at night after my children are in bed, one bonus of this mixer is it is not loud at all. It’s way more quiet than my original Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I could still hold a conversation with my husband in the next room as I mixed.I have used the mixer multiple times now for various foods and it has been wonderful. It’s easy to clean the parts and storage is ok in the bag. I would have preferred the plastic container storage that the other leading brands have, but I’ll deal with it.This was everything I need right now at just a fraction of the price of a stand mixer.

I have a large Kitchenaid stand mixer that was gifted to me on my wedding day. It works great but it takes up a lot of counter space in our small kitchen and I just felt it was a little overkill for my daily needs. I bought this primarily to replace my stand mixer when it came to making pizza dough and other smaller jobs here and there. We make whole wheat pizza once a week and I wanted to see if this small, easy to clean machine could handle a little bread dough. I’m so happy to say that it does! I use the dough hooks it came with and my pizza comes out great every time. My stand mixer has been collecting dust since this hand mixer came in the mail.

So disappointed!! I ordered a kitchen Aid hand mixer and one of the places to snap the dough hook in will not hold, it keeps falling out. The other side works fine. I wasn’t sure at first if I did something wrong but I started to make rolls again and put one of the dough hooks in on the defective side and it would not stay in place. So I had to do everything by hand. When I first got the product I waited several weeks before I used it Then it was several weeks before I was going to use it again and it is broken and then found out I only had a 30 day return policy and now I have just wasted $80.00 plus dollars and it’s no good. Very disappointed…☹️

POS! The beaters did not spin smoothly, they wobbled alot, so I exchanged it for a brand-new one and had the exact same problem, I only bought this based on the excellent reviews it had I don’t know if I just got 2 bad ones or what but based on my experience i would say do not buy it

Después de un rato de batir tamales se calienta y se apaga y hay que esperar a que se enfríe de nuevo. tube que esperar dos veces para hacer 3 kg de tamales. Mi recomendación ahorra este dinero y compra después una kitchen Aid profecional 600 esas si son de batalla

Comparado con los otros modelos de menos velocidades que no incluyen aditamentos esta es una excelente compra. Además con todos los aditamentos incluidos, uno ahorra en tiempo de búsqueda y costos extras. Por cierto,éste modelo de 9 velocidades no se consigue en Kitchen Aid en México…Es ligera, muy práctica, y EXTREMADAMENTE SILENCIOSA. Fácil de manejar, el cable para conecta a la corriente eléctrica es grueso y se posiciona a manera de que no interfiera con la preparación.El color candy red es un rojo obscuro metálico muy bonito.Muy contenta con la compra.
