This handsome KitchenAid 30 in. Built-In Gas Grill Head is constructed with premium corrosion-resistant materials for durability and ease of upkeep.

Boasting 775 sq. in. of total cooking space, this unit thrusts up to 61,000 BTUs of fire-roasting energy across four main stainless steel burners and one ceramic rotisserie burner.

Perched above the primary burners are angled flame tamers that deflect heat, prevent flare-ups and vaporize drippings into flavor infusions that permeate foods with a distinctive smoky taste.

This Even-Heat System distributes consistent and uniform heat across the stainless steel-wrapped cooking grates so there aren’t any hot spots.

Electronic ignition allows burners to fire up instantly and the built-in thermometer enables precise temperature regulation.

I am a General Contractor (and US Naval Academy Engineer) tasked by the grill owner to investigate his grill’s failure. The grill was placed in operation fall of 2015 and has been used intermittently by the vacation homeowners. Purchased through Home Depot.Investigation of why spark igniters had failed revealed that the back of the firebox had buckled outward pulling the flame tubes off of the middle two gas jets. The fire was then free to blow through the control section blistering paint, melting wires and heating parts not supposed to be heated. See pictures.Warranty service, run by a company not Kitchenaid called NEXGRILL, has been exceptionally slow and basically a hurdle to warranty service. They ask for pictures, you send them pictures then wait a week until you figure they forgot about you and have to call them …. they then ask for more pictures almost as though they didn’t look at originals and basically say the owner melted the gill through normal operations as a result of inadequate ventilation. Actually the ventilation exceeds Kitchenaid requirements and was designed by a licensed Architect and inspected by me, a professional engineer for proper construction. Warranty Service is nothing more than delay and disrupt from a California Company. In fact, after three weeks of sending them pictures, pictures and more pictures they admitted they had zero decision making authority, they were just info gathers.I would stipulate a grill should not melt and create a unconstrained flame/fire hazard at any temperature expected inside a grill firebox. I would stipulate Kitchenaid should stand by their products as opposed to creating warranty delays and deceiving owners/contractors.This grill is hazardous, contains materials not suitable for the designed use and is not recommended. Personally I wouldn’t install even if it were free.

Have had the grill for over 4 months but installed about late March. So far I have these negative points about it:- the internal heat is hard to control.- cleaning as the grill racks as recommended by KitchenAid with a solution of ammonia and water doe snot work.- when grilling, if the wind hits it from rear the grill temperature will drop drastically, but it will return to the previous temperature once the wind stops.- the grill racks do a poor job at creating grill marks on all meats. Ive had to using a griddle to get those desired grill marks.- the upper grill rack is flimsy, don”t count on placing a steak or ribs on it.

The “welded” grill grates for this grill came broken. Would like replacement ones for free.

AMAZING! Perfect addition for our outdoor BBQ! Converting to gas was a bit of a pain, but it works great!

Seems like an OK grill for the price… probably not the best, but I’m hoping not to have any issues soon
