Fitbit Flex 2 is great for active people. I really like this Fitbit Flex 2, because I will be able to wear it, when I go swimming. Since it can be worn in a pool or in the shower. You just have to dry it out completely after it gets wet though. I also liked that it came with the 2 different size bracelets (small & large), so that you can wear the one you fit.

Worry free tracker. The Fitbit Flex 2 is the ideal choice for people who love water sports and don’t need to worry about removing it for the shower. It comes with a small band and large band to insert the Fitbit Flex 2 into so anyone can wear it. Each band has about 10 notches and is more of a flexible rubber band that isn’t elastic so it is very comfortable. You can even hide the Fitbit Flex 2 in a pendant or slip it into a clip to fully match your mood or fashion style at the time. It is so slim and sleek that I forgot I was wearing it. I really like how this just becomes a part of my life.

You can choose one of three ways to setup and communicate with the Fitbit based on your network. The first option to connect is to download the Fitbit app to your mobile device and synch up the Fitbit by registering online. The next is to download the app to your computer and communicate via Bluetooth. If you want to just connect via Wi-Fi then you need to purchase a Fitbit Dongle but it has to be a link without requiring a password.

I really love that the Fitbit app gives you all the feedback you need to be healthier. You can set goals based on your movement to help make easy choices to burn more calories. It has some nice features to motivate you with challenges. The Fitbit app will even tell you how much you slept each night and wake you with a strong vibration so you won’t need to hear that alarm clock. Your phone can even alert you thru the Fitbit with a vibration and LED lights so you know when you really need to pick it up. This feature works great when you are required to turn your phone off.

Thin model. I had looked at these types of gadgets before and always found them to be clunky and not exactly elegant on a woman’s wrist. Enter the Fitbit Flex 2 Swim Proof Activity Tracker model. This model is much thinner and the wristband is silicone and much softer than others I had looked at. However, it does not have a display – hence the more slimline design.

The box came with two sizes of the wristband, the small one fits me nice. The color is a light lilac, really a nice shade for a lady.
The instruction booklet really has no instructions at all and you have to go online to find out what all the flashing lights mean. Charging and then downloading the software and setting up the Fitbit Flex 2 Swim Proof Activity Tracker was not a problem but I am not sure about getting the small sensor out of the wristband and then plug it into your PC with the included USB charger and holder. I hope the silicone does not stretch after a time and the sensor unit drops out. The little sensor can also be attached to a pendant or belt hook (not included in the box). I expect it will take me some time to become really familiar with this model and all its workings and I did not have the chance to take it swimming yet…
The Fitbit Flex 2 Swim Proof Activity Tracker is a great alternative to the larger models.

very versatile. FITBIT FLEX SWIM PROOF ACTIVITY TRACKER TRACKS CALORIES BURNED AND ACTIVE MINUTES. IT IS SWIM PROOF SO YOU CAN USE IT IN THE POOL, OCEAN OR SHOWER. TRACKS HOW WELL AND HOW LONG YOU SLEEP. YOU CAN ALSO SET AN ALARM WHICH WILL WAKE YOU UP BY VIBRATING. DIDN’T WORK FOR ME. MORE OF A DEEP SLEEPER I GUESS.

YOU CAN ALSO GET CALL AND TEXT NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR WRIST. IT WILL VIBRATE A CODE PATTERN AND COLOR LED LIGHTS. BLUE FOR CALLS AND PURPLE FOR TEXTS. YOUR PHONE HAS TO BE NEARBY THOUGH. HAVEN’T CHECKED OUT HOW CLOSE YOUR PHONE HAS TO BE FOR THIS FEATURE TO WORK.

YOU ALSO RECEIVE REMINDERS TO MOVE BY A SMALL VIBRATION AND ORANGE LED LIGHT.

IT HAS A SMART TRACK THAT RECOGNIZES CERTAIN WORK OUTS AND RECORDS THEM TO YOUR FITBIT APP. THESE INCLUDE RUNS, SPORTS ACTIVITY AND AEROBICS.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT ACCESSORIES THAT YOU CAN WEAR THE FITBIT IN. YOU HAVE WRISTBANDS, BANGLES AND PENDANTS. MY FAVORITE IS EITHER THE BANGLE (BRACELET) OR PENDANT. I HAVE NOT BOUGHT EITHER ONE. MAYBE SANTA WILL! UNTIL THEN THE WRIST BAND WILL HAVE TO DO. I LIKE THE GOLD BRACELET THE BEST BUT IT IS EXPENSIVE. IT LOOKS VERY NICE AND COULD BE A DRESS UP, OR DRESS DOWN ITEM. THE STAINLESS STEEL ONE IS A BETTER, MORE PRACTICAL OPTION. THE PRICE IS VERY ACCEPTABLE AS WELL. HAVEN’T SEEN THE PENDANT COLORS IN PERSON BUT A NICE OPTION TO BE ABLE TO HAVE. ALSO AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. THE OPTIONS MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A DIFFERENT PIECE OF JEWELLERY EVERY TIME YOU WEAR IT.

So many functions and reasons to use it. If you live in a rural area without a state of the art gym, if you are into the latest 10,000 step a day craze, if you can’t find a reliable workout buddy, if you are trying to drop a stubborn 20 pounds, if you hit that certain age where you need to watch your diet and activity levels more closely or if you are just one of the folks that charts every aspect of their diet and life in general so long as you have your smart phone and internet this can be the answer to your prayers. This has many uses from tracking your activity levels, reminding you to move, keeping track of your sleep, tracking your calories, tracking your fluid intake and tracking the number of steps you take. It’s super simple to get started by choosing the smaller or the larger band, charging the battery using the USB adapter (included) and downloading the phone app. On top of the multitude of functions with the app you also gain access to an entire community of other users. You can set goals for yourself on the app for the hours of sleep per night, calories burned, caloric intake to the steps you take daily. Using the app you can connect with real life friends or other members of the community to do “challenges” and help each other reach your goals by motivating each other. You can literally live in the middle of nowhere and still find a workout partner using this. The bracelets are water resistant as well so you can swim with them. The only downside to the system is even though you can swim wearing them they say you need to thoroughly dry them off after and the device constantly syncs to your phone so on my worst or most active day my battery died three times faster on my smartphone than it does with no device. With the number of uses and functions and the ability to always have someone else to motivate you to get or keep moving you literally have no excuse to not get fit and stay fit.

Lightweight and Flexible. Fitbit flex 2

The fitbit flex 2 has a slim and lightweight design. The packaging is nice and organized, and comes with 2 size bands so 1 is sure to fit. It does not have all the bells and whistles but not everyone needs or wants them. This is a nice basic tracker. You set this up through the fitbit app, if you go to the website as in the setup instructions it tells you to download the app. Setting it up was very easy. It has many functions, counts your steps, tracks your exercise, reminds you to move, tracks your sleep, and allows you to track/log your food and beverages. It also vibrates when you have a call or new text message. It states that the battery will last 5 days and so far, it has lived up to that. Although it claims that it is swim proof I have not tested that however I have showered with mine on and it still works fine.
Here is the fun part, it is interchangeable. You can purchase additional accessories like color wristbands, pendants and fashionable bracelet. So, if you do not want people to see you are wearing a fitness tracker they don’t need to know.
Although I cannot order my lunch or check my Facebook with this tracker it does what I need it to do. The lightweight and slim design is perfect, I forget I am wearing it.

good activity tracker. The Fitbit 2 activity tracker, comes with two bracelet sizes and both are adjustable in size so there is a small and a large, since I have a small wrist I use the small one there are ten holes to choose from to hook it together but it uses two of them so that makes it five sizes to choose from.
The main problem I have is hooking it the first prong goes in real easy but the second one is very hard to push through the hole, so it takes some time to push it through. The next thing is when it comes to charging the very first time it took a long time approximately 3 to 4 hours. The next time I charged it, it only took about thirty to fourty-five minutes. It has several features that I think are awesome. One is I love how it connects to my smart phone, when I get a call the Fitbit will vibrate and let me know that I have a phone call. I never knew I was walking as far as I was, and then it shows how many calories I burned in a day. So if you are looking for a activity tracker that is small and nice looking you might want to check this out. You can also buy other bands and necklace’s for it, but they are on the pricey side.

GREAT BASIC WATERPROOF activity tracker. Having previously owned a Fitbit Charge HR, I can’t help but write my review from a comparative stance. Let me start with the best part of the Flex 2, which happens to be how I ended up needed a new Fitbit in the first place… IT’S WATERPROOF! I accidentally jumped in a pool wearing my Charge HR, and despite noticing quickly and throwing it in rice, it didn’t make it. So I absolutely love not having to worry about that with my new Flex 2.
Second best feature: the tracker itself is tiny! I love that you can swap out wristbands, or get an ankle band, or even a necklace. The small and large adjustable (lavender) bands included are lightweight and comfortable and should fit wrists of MANY sizes – they also stay tightly secured on the wrist.

It functions well as a tracker overall, though I went for a run and it didn’t seem to pick that up automatically as it’s supposed to. The five lights on the tracker progressively fill in as you reach your step goal; the final light turns green and the tracker vibrates when you’ve reached it.

When your battery is very low, one light will turn red. This is one thing I’ve been a little frustrated with – I find the Flex 2 isn’t good at all about sending me “Your battery is low” emails like the Charge HR did, and I’ve already found my tracker dead a couple times without warning. It’s also not as obvious because the Flex 2 does not have an LCD screen to check the battery level like the Charge HR. I’m a bit disappointed that the silent alarm feature hasn’t been fleshed out any further either – still no options to set number of snoozes or length between snoozes.

Overall which Fitbit you should get comes down to your preferences. For me, giving up some of the higher-end features of the Charge HR were a perfectly good trade-off to get the slimmer, lighter, and waterproof Flex 2.

Good for sleep tracking! I’m not super athletic because of health reasons. I always thought these were for athletic people but that’s not true! I like to track my steps sure, but the sleep tracking is my favorite feature! I have narcolepsy plus a basket full of other health issues that make sleep and sleep monitoring important. The app tells me how long i slept, how many times i woke up and even when i was restless. The battery lasts a good long while, the bands are comfortable and app is easy to use. I’m impressed by this gadget. I definitely recommend!

Fitbit. I love this fitbit. It came with a purple band that is flexible and has many holes for fitting. It came with a charger plug and plugs into an android phone plug. It charges quickly and stays charged for approximately 3 days. It tracks your steps and your sleep patterns. It is comfortable, so much so that I often forget I have it on. You can enter your exercise for the day and how many glasses of water you had to drink and it keeps track of everything. It also syncs with my android phone and when I get a text or call it vibrates to let me know. I highly recommend this. It is also waterproof which is fabulous because several times I forgot I had it on and got in the shower, no damage done. It has a lot of features for such a small thing. It has ways that you can add friends and compete as well to keep you motivated. I also downloaded the fitbit coach app which has exercise programs n there you can access.

I am only tracking steps/swim/sleep activity (no stairs option). Battery life seems short, charges quickly. Turn off swim/lap tracking when not in the pool. All info/activity/readout tied to phone. Like size.

I loved the fitbit 2 when I first got it and used it in tandem with the fitbit app on my smart phone. It was convenient and fun to watch my progress on the app. I did not want to use the rubber type band it came with, so I bought a cute silver bracelet for it and used it for a week until I realized that I had lost it and was so upset. My girlfriend happen to tell me she’s on her 3rd one! I I replaced it with a flex 3 which is perfect for me. Weeks later, I found the lost fitbit 2/bracelet underneath the seat of my car so I gave the fitbit 2 to my friend with the original rubber type band it came with and he seems to like it and uses it daily. If your gonna use this, make sure you use the original rubber type band or use a durable accessory.

Love my Fitbit 2. I also own the Alta HR but this is my go to because of its small size and the fact that it’s waterproof. I own several replacemnt bands for it and love that I can have a new look with a simple switch. While the step counter is a bit off (I think it also tracks the movement of my arms when it’s travking) and I don’t get the detail of the sleep tracker like in my Alta HR, it does help me look at my phone less when out because of the text and call alerts. And don’t be concerned that you won’t feel the alerts. In addition to never missing a call or text alert, the heavy sleeper in me can still feel the silent alarms that I have set to wake me up for work each day.
