First of all, thanks DeWalt/Amazon for moving the impact drivers and power drills out of this grouping on Amazon so that it is not as confusing. All of the reviews now that mention the drills, however, are now not worth anything so the reviews are not off. Oh well. This DeWalt tool set seems to be well built, with quality pieces, unlike the Allen Wrench socket set that I had previously whose case fell apart and is currently being held together with duct tape.CONS:-The toolset is pretty heavy, but a general rule of thumb is that quality and weight usually run harmoniously with each-other, so this is not a big deal.-It does not have the attachment adapter for a drill or impact driver for the largest sockets, but it does come with an adaptor for the smaller two sizes.-They are not impact rated, but I think that they will hold up for a battery-powered impact driver (I use a Greenworks 24V impact driver, I will include a link for my review of this product from Amazon.)PROS:-It has a very good, solid, well-built case that should last a lot longer than our Allen Wrench socket set, whose case fell apart. The case is made with a premium composite plastic material that looks and feels durable.-The hinges and latches are well made and should last a long time.-All of the tools are made professionally and nothing seems like it was poorly engineered.-All of the sockets, wrenches, and ratchets are well built.-lifetime guarantee with free replacement which is a perk.Time will tell and I will update my review if something goes wrong, but these products work very well and I am not ashamed to have them in my toolbox. The Pros outweighted the Cons and the only way that I would not recommend this would be if you work repeatedly with high-powered air-powered impact guns. I would highly recommend this toolset to anyone who needs a solid set of wrenches and sockets for their garage or shop. Please like my review if it was helpful. Wanted to wait 1 Year after buying this set of tools that replaced my old Craftsman set I had that’s was 30 plus years old, I am a retired HVAC mechanic who now tinkers on my and Wife and Girlfriend car and I love these set of tools that have held up through the punishment I’ve put them through. If you like quality tools, this is the set you want. When they arrived I picked up the package and instantly knew they were quality tools $166 for 247 piece tool set come on you can’t beat that, and the case that they come in is rugged to.

The set has plenty of tools and all the ones you need to do most of the maintenance on a normal vehicle or fix things around a shop.Mine came with THREE 1/4 size nut bits, and was missing a 6mm and a 5mm nut bit. I’m not going to use those very much and when I do I can borow from other tool sets, but the quality control there was a little disappointing.All the pieces come out of the molds easily and seem to hold tight in the molds.The ratchets seem sturdy but the action is a little inconsistent and clunky. THe sockets are nice and thick and seem to be built well; the sizes are all easy to read (however there istoo much extra writing on the sockets in my opinion).I would buy again for the price. It’s more trouble than it’s worth to get the nut bits that are missing but I am happy with the set.

I have a large set of American Craftsman tools in my basement work shop, but wanted another nice set for my garage. I decided to try Dewalt. Now they are sturdy and do the job, but many of the pieces are rusting and rusting badly. I never expected this from a brand such as Dewalt. My Craftsman tools are 40 years old with not a speck of rust. Very disappointed. I am going to buy new hand tools, but it certainly won’t be Dewalt. I’ll check Craigslist for estate sales and used tools.

Great set of tools. The case is much larger than the one pictured – it is almost 2 feet wide! It is heavy too, but it makes sense as there is a lot of tool goodness packed in there. The only complaint I have is the blow molded case. As others have mentioned, it does not hold the sockets very well and a couple fall out every time you open the case, or worse, when you are trying to close the two halves together.

It is SO NICE not having to hunt all over a tool chest for the various sizes needed. My husband and I are young and growing our tool collection, I decided it would be nice to have multiple tools and sizes all together, versus the various odds and ends pieces we’ve gathered over the years. Not having to take the time to hunt down what you need makes this set well worth it.As always Dewalt is a great brand every piece is accounted for and everything is in great condition. I even bought 3 more sets for my favorite family members!

So far i have not used this set for more than a few projects but its a really nice package.Everything was there and in good conditon. I see alot of other reviews complaining about the case being too loose to fit certaij tools sockets etc. I can see why this would be a problem but mine seems fine so far, a bit loose on some ratchets sockets etc but they all stay in placeGreat value for a great set!

If you are looking for a very complete set of tools, pick this set. Everything all nicely inside one box. The case is large, and heavy, but well organized. There is a foam mat that rests on top of the individual sockets which helps keep everything in place.

But other than that the ratchets feel solid yet precise with their 72 teeths, sockets and adapters fit rather precisely within one another. Only thing one could wish for is the same kit but impact ready and with ratcheting wrenches (although you really dont buy this kit for the wrenches anyways as theirs only 5 metric 5 imperials) and maybe a few bigger allen key sizes (was using this in an industrial context)
