What can you say it’s a Dewalt! I got this to install 5v crimp tin roofing and after installing 53 sheets of tin and flashing I can say this is a great driver. It is very powerful and the clutch adjustment worked very well keeping the power low enough to not over tighten the fasteners. This works much better than the other cordless drivers I have used in the past. The only complaint I have is the clutch assembly after normal use started to get rust starting on it after two weeks of use. If I had put this up without oiling it would have been all rusted up when I went to use it again. This should not happen with a tool of this price!! I have other dewalt drills that this has not happened to them. The picture is after oiling and one more use of the driver in normal dry conditions.

1st monster screw gun I have had. Everything else has been battery powered. Never again for batteries. This thing has power. Clutch takes a bit getting use to at first. On zero, this thing does sheet rock without a blink. Getting ready to use it on sheet metal roof and a steel carport. So far, I would say, its a keeper!

Really good gun, lots of torque. Only draw back is the cord. I got spoiled on cordless. This is light weight.

I bought this to drive those very large 9″ structural crosscut screws through notched 6×6 PT as my battery powered drill died trying to do the same. This driver has power to spare, an easy to use bit system and a wide range of clutch settings. I’m not a pro builder but for a home owner who builds things constantly this driver is excellent.

10/7/14 Arrived within two days using “Prime” regular free delivery. Requires 2″ bits, NOT 1″ bits. Apply light pressure into wood or sheet rock or the clutch will not disengage ( deep hole results ). Always test on scrap before using first time – the adjustment collar will provide consistent, satisfactory results with your increased familiarity with this screwdriver. When screwed in to desired depth, unit chatters as though the bit is spinning on the screw head. It’s OK, that’s just the clutch releasing at the desired torque needed to sink the screw to the desired depth. Materials of different densities require different collar settings.

Out performs battery powered screw guns hands down. Used this to sheet the roof of my barn, it’s 40’x120′. Never had any problems, once you get the torque setting right, which only takes a few seconds, it’s ready to use. Would highly recommend this product.

I used this to assemble a 2000 sq ft, 22′ tall steel building with about a million screws. The tool was perfect for the job!
