Celestron’s award-winning Nature DX binoculars gets a major upgrade with the addition of premium ED objective lenses. Celestron’s high-quality ED glass delivers visibly brighter, sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars.
The difference is especially noticeable in low light conditions, such as at dawn or dusk. Nature DX ED features fully multi-coated optics. The Nature DX ED is a great birdwatching binocular. Its fully multi-coated optics and BaK-4 prisms will maximize light transmission, resulting in remarkably bright, highly detailed image quality, and the ED objective lenses will further enhance these features, especially in dim light conditions.
ED glass also helps you spot insects and plants at a close focus of just 8.2 feet. These premium binoculars together are suitable for eyeglass wearers and include a protective padded nylon case for easy storage and portability.
Our Nature DX ED 10×50 model offers 10x magnification power. Despite its higher magnification, Nature DX ED 10×50 maintains a close focus of just 8.2 feet.
Aim for quality sport optics and get your binoculars from Celestron, the world’s #1 leading telescope brand in the USA. Nearly 70 years on the market!

Bought this as a personal set for my wife, and also because the original Nature DX had such great value. Compared to a Monarch 5, it’s really hard to tell the difference in terms of optics. The ED glass works quite well, CA is well controlled, and clarity is outstanding.Handling is great, with sufficient adjustable eye relief for glasses wearers. Focus dial is smooth and offered just only a slightly stiff feel. Really comfy to hold, not as comfy asI wished it would come in green (we received a black version). The bundled straps are crap, I changed it out to a spare comfy camera strap instead.

I bought these binoculars after reading the comparison tests for compact bird-watching binoculars in various price ranges on the Audubon Society website. These were rated in the top 5 of all the lower-price range binoculars tested, but were 50% cheaper than the next lowest-priced pair and half the price of the highest-priced pair in that range. And the optics are amazing, with great color and no noticeable vignetting. The only negative I found is the strap, which I replaced immediately after my first field trip. Only wish I been able to buy optics this good for a price like this years earlier!

My wife and I are beginner birder who can’t afford the high end binoculars. She has the same binoculars with the standard glass. The view through ED glass is much brighter. These are well worth the investment if you are looking for the next level of image quality on a smaller budget. The eye cups are a little fragile. One broke on my first pair, but the replacement binoculars has been just fine. Also, the strap is very thin. I bought BlueCabi neoprene neck strap for $9.95. It is very comfortable.

I’m updating my original review…. I returned and reordered and the new one came with twist-up eyecups with multiple stops on both eye cups. The bins are advertised as “Eyeglass friendly – Generous eye relief and sturdy, twist-up eyecups with multiple Stops” however only one of the eye cups is twist-up with multiple stops. Returning it and reordering and hopefully the 2nd pair have twist-up eyecups with multiple stops on both eye cups.

Eye cup is kind of flimsy

I returned this item because, after second thoughts, I decided I prefer to buy the Vortex diamondback HD 8×32 (costs about 40$ more). I just learned that I will receive a bank refund. Is it possible , instead of that, to keep the refunded money on my account with you? I could then simply pay the difference when ordering the new binoculars. it would be much simpler. Is it possible? Can you keep my refund on my account with you? regards, Bernard

Hallo.
