After shopping online for sometime I decided to go to a Bass Pro Shop to compare binocular models. I did not even have the Bushnell Trophy in mind when I went, but after comparing it to others (even some more expensive brands), I found the Bushnell Trophy to be the most comfortable, bright, and clear model in the price and size range I was looking for. I bought it through Amazon because their price was $30 cheaper (in addition, I got a $30 rebate during a temporary offer from Bushnell). The product description on Amazon did not mention the objective lens covers, but they are included along with a mesh carrying case, a soft-cloth carrying bag/ lens cleaner, and a strap. I posted some pictures for reference. The body feels very durable and very well-made, and I like that it is waterproof and fog proof. I am also pleased that Bushnell offers a comprehensive warranty which does not require registration to activate. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase and I look forward to many days of wildlife viewing with my children on nature hikes and camping trips.

I ordered the Bushnell Trophy 8×32 along with a pair of Wingspan UltraHD binos for my kids who need a bit better pair than their super compact nikon binos. The Wingspan binos were defective, so I used a pair of Leica BN 10×42 for comparison. I am an avian ecologist and have spent hundreds of hours looking through binos, and have used mostly professional level optics (ED) from Nikon and Pentax. For less than $80, I was highly impressed with the Bushnells. The view in normal lighting was surprisingly bright and sharp, and similar to the Leicas (note that the Leicas, though, are 10x). That is not to say that the Bushnells are equivalent to the Leicas, but are surprisingly good. The Bushnells weigh 19 oz with their objective lens caps. They did not come with lens caps for the ocular lens (eye pieces) which is a bit disappointing. The diopter adjustment (eye-equalizing) on the Bushnells was spot-on with the other quality binos I use (slightly + for my eyes), and was fairly easy to get the adjustment correct. The view was sharp and bright in normal light, with a little aberation at the edges. Both of my kids, who were reluctant to give up their compact binos, had the same reaction: “Wow, these are great. Can I have them?” The binos were easily adjustable to all our eyes and faces, with or without glasses. They feel good to hold, though I suspect my kids will find them a bit heavy at times. But, that’s to be expected to get a better view. I’ll definitely be buying another pair to carry with me when I don’t want to carry the (heavy) Leicas. So would I give up my Leicas for these? No. There’s a lot that goes into the overall experience of a pair of binos. How they fit your face; how they feel in your hands; stability while looking through them; clarity and brightness from edge to edge; usability in low light; reduced fatigue from higher quality lenses; quality of the diopter adjustment; the remarkable feel and intuitive use of the focus ring. That’s what you get (or expect to get) when you spend $2k or more, and possibly what you need if you use them a lot and for difficult subjects. But I’m not sure spending $200-$400 on a pair of binos will get you a significantly better pair than these Bushnells (anymore). As always, it’s best to try out several pairs at different price points to get the best fit for you. I recommend you try these, too.

Very nice little binocular. Perfect if you want small and lighter, not heavy, big, and clunky that bogs you down. I use these for both deer hunting and coyote hunting when I am walking long distances. Small enough to fit in a big pocket, or I use a chest harness to keep them ready at all times. Good clear view and nice focusing.

I wear glasses and found the eyepieces to be difficult to adjust to acquire a quick clear image. They should be made of a softer material. The focus adjustment is large and easy to use even while wearing gloves. The lens adjustment on the right lens also adjusts easily and is well marked.. The lens caps are attached to the front lens by a rubber ring. Lost one the first day out. I liked the design of the caps but a drop of super glue on the ring was in order. Lost the other cap a couple of days later. The quality of the glass is quite good, light gathering acceptable for the size though not great. Not much advantage to be gained in low light but they are only 32mm. Nice weight, not to heavy, seem to be quite sturdy. Bounced around in the truck for a week of elk hunting just fine. Neck strap is just a strap, no neck pad but adequate if wrapped under a collar. Overall pleased with the performance at this price.

Once again a good bang for your buck. Clear and bright image, almost to the very edges of the field of view. At 32 mm optics and 4 mm exit pupils not outstanding at dusk or dawn, but during daylight hours you’ll be hard pressed to find better at this price.Their big brother 8×56 is a humdinger and the bee’s knees for twilight situations due to its 7 mm exit pupils which in combination with the 56 mm optics give a twilight factor of 21.2 – compared to the 16 of these here 8x32s.

This binoculars arrived with a nice case and they felt very comfortable to hold. I only gave them a three star because the focus for me was a little tricky. There was a focus adjustment on the right lens and also the typical focus adjustment in the middle of the binoculars. I seemed to get them out of synch pretty easily so it seems I spent more time trying to get the focus right than I did actually viewing. I love the brand so I will be checking for a different style and returning these.

Really solid binocs with good eye relief and focus. Focus wheel was super smooth and all actions were perfect. This was a pretty heavy binoc for my intended use so I ended up returning for a more travel friendly 8×32 in a very small frame. If I wanted a full size binocular for local use I would likely get a higher mag and bigger objective but this is a really cool middle size if that is what you prefer.

I needed a pair of Binoculars and these fit the bill well. They arrived on time and in excellent shape. They are clear and not to heavy. I feel the value to price was worth the purchase.
