Beautiful, nearly perfection. Awesome engineering, size and performance. Beautiful case that attaches to your golf bag to slip it in and out of, or keep handy in the cart. Highly accurate, the standard device to which all others attempt to imitate.BEWARE, however: the product video on this site is misleading. It very informatively implies that this device provides slope. This model (Tour v4 Jolt) DOES NOT PROVIDE SLOPE. That is a much more expensive model (another $65-75), for some reason that product video is included in the information for this model.That said, slope readings are outside the rules of golf (illegal)- and in my opinion, in most cases, rarely adds or subtracts a value that isn’t apparent to a good golfer anyhow, so going to the highest price point (for the Tour V4 with slope) is frivolous.

I have been extremely disappointed in the accuracy of this device. I have consistent results where distances measured with the jolt feel is off by 10-15 yards. Sometimes I get the jolt nd it’s off 30-35 yards. I’m to the point where I have to check it 3-4 times and then look ask others with similar devices to confirm distances. Sometimes I’ll go back to using sprinkler markers and walking it off to confirm the yardage. I’m so unsure of its measurements now that I’m always double checking yardages. That’s a waste. This happens regardless of the background. Even when there is a generally clear background I can get wide variances in yardage measurements. When there are trees in the background I have to measure multiple times from different angles to feel comfortable the jolt is accurate. Again, when you get two jolts 10-15 yards different it creates doubt. I would not recommend this device be purchased.

I had one of the original Bushnell Range Finders that I had for years until it finally gave up the ghost late last year. I went without a rangefinder for several months, but I had really come to depend on it, so I recently bought this model. The size surprised me compared to the much older model I was using; this rangefinder is really small….That’s not a drawback at all as it fits very comfortably in my hand. The older model, because of it’s design, needed two hands to operate. This one is easy to use with just one hand and I have no complaints. The “Jolt” feature is an added bonus, although it does “jolt” sometimes even when it has not locked on the flag stick. As will all rangefinders of this type, I find it works best when you use a “sweeping motion” on the flag to make sure you are really getting the yardage to the flag. Also, I usually get a reading from something behind the green like a tree as a comparison, just to make sure I really have a yardage to the stick. I did order a two pack of the 3-volt batteries since these are not something that I use in anything except this device. I’ve played several rounds using this an the battery indicator still shows full charge….we’ll see how that holds up.

I played approximately 60 rounds with this device, over the past 16is months. I also took great care of it, keeping it in its case between use. However it recently stopped working and a new battery didn’t help, nor did any troubleshooting techniques. I contacted Bushnell for options on warranty or repair and they have not responded. Very disappointing.

Previously gave this a 5 star review however must add a followup 2 star rating. The device having intermittent problem with displaying yardage and vibration. Did not expect a $275 device to have trouble after 9 months. Furthermore, support from Bushnell is lacking. Website instructs how to return but does not offer free shipping, even if device is only 9 months old. Called Buishnell twice for these issues and put onhold for 10-15 minutes each time. Emailed and there was NO response. I purchased other yardage devices (not rangefinders) from Golf Buddy and they are excellent on supporting their products, even AFTER the warranty. Very disappointed. Recommend checking support/repair on rangefinders prior to purchasing.

Does exactly what it says. No BS, no guessing, no kinda, sorta, maybes… It just plain works. The jolt feature is nice (thought I wouldn’t need it or want it), but actually helps determine a “locked in” pin yardage. Some people say the jolt doesn’t work everytime, but I have no issues. For those having issues: sight in the pin, lightly press the red button and sweep the finder slowly across the pin (not across the green and Or two holes over and back), but like maybe a foot off the pin and back. it will detect the difference in yardage and “lock in” the pin. This only works if you lightly depress the button while Going across the pin. Also, forget about guessing how far away that water hazard is, or bunker, or dog leg, or beer cart… you now know! Oh, and want to know how far you hit your drive? Stand over your ball and shoot the yardage back to the tee box… happy hacking friends

I have always been a yardage golfer, and to use this you are really only going to get the full benefit if this describes you. It is very accurate and gives you a nice little jolt when locked on the flag.I’ve found the yardage can fluctuate fractionally, but it really is only 1 or 2 yards at most if you do multiple measures. I simply take the average or the one which is presented most. This is certainly accurate enough for me and pretty much everyone I play with.I still use my satnav for layups and times when I can’t see the flag etc. but have found this, used in conjunction with it, has been invaluable and certainly gives me far more opportunities for birdies and eagles.Would I ditch my satnav and use this exclusively?…….No I wouldn’t as it doesn’t help in all instances, but I use this probably 95% of the time now with the satnav coming out probably twice in an average round.The quality is great, case is excellent and it is really easy to hold still enough to get a lock, something which I thought I would really struggle with. The level of zoom also seems perfect and I haven’t had any issues finding flags, even from 240+ yards.If you are looking for a laser range finder I would certainly recommend this without hesitation.

It is astonishing to see how little distance I get in winter and this is a salutary lesson.UPDATE 11.9.18 This stopped working and completegolfer.co.uk have been extraordinarily helpful. Bushnell is apparently reorganising its business. They returned it to them but there was no response, so completegolfer.co.uk have sent me a new rangefinder.Very good service!

This brand is the leading rangefinder maker and this model is solidly made and fits comfortably in the hand. Easy to set up and use straight out of the box. Very accurate with a pulse blip once locked onto target. My only issue is that I struggle a bit to keep device steady whist its locking on but I get there and I find it tremendously helpful.

Very handy tool for the golf course. Easy to use though I would say that it is definitely more suitable for an open golf course as branches and such can make it difficult to focus on the desired object. Has been very accurate in my experience so far.

Having bought a cheap Chinese model previously, I can now see what you get for your money and I think it is worth every penny. I’m lucky in that I can hold the Tour V4 quite still when I’m focusing on the flag and the readings are accurate when compared with course markers, etc.

Delivered today, there was no Battery enclosed, the plastic disc which separates the battery was stuck to the bottom of the box? Once Battery was inserted the device within 15 seconds became overheated, when removing the battery it had became to hot to touch.
