Full disclosure, I love gadgets and this thing is a gadget extraordinaire. I bought it to save counter space (at least, that’s what I tell myself), and it does that – old standup blender, food processor, and immersion blender are now in the hands of various friends and family members. I’ve owned a number of Breville appliances over the years and have been 100% pleased. The All In One is a welcome addition to the list. It does everything it promises, including mashing potatoes to your personal consistency preference.

I did quite a bit of research before buying this product. Being British, I was familiar with the brand, Breville as it was popular in Britain.Pro:It looks goodNice plugImmersion blender is fairly sturdyCons:within about 3 months, the motor for the bowl broke. The potato masher blade (PLASTIC) snapped, and I have only used it a few times. The potato masher takes longer to clean than the whole kitchen. To use the blender bowl, you have to take the grater out, then the blade out, then put the grater back on. It is quicker to grab a grater out of the drawer. When the motor broke (November), I contacted Breville, which is another thing, it took days. I eventually 6 weeks get the part, AND, it is the WRONG one. I contact them again, then weeks later I receive the right one. So, now I did not have the appliance for the purpose I bought it for, the holiday season cooking. I used the appliance about 4 times in a 2 year period, because a lot of the time, it was broken, or I was waiting for a part. Then we move house, and I use the immersion blender attachment, which I do like about 4 times. I used the potato masher attachment 6th November, and it SNAPPED. What idiot made a potato masher blade out of PLASTIC? I call Breville after a fiasco online, where it asked for a number that is NOT on my appliance, AND, it says that the replacement part is NOT in stock. I wonder why? Could it be that it KEEPS BREAKING? I wait 30 minutes on hold, then decide to get them to ring me back. Guess what? I am still waiting… 8th November.DO NOT buy this product! You will spend more time with it broken than using it.It was supposedly designed by a chef, what chef in their right mind uses a PLASTIC implement to mash potatoes?

I had my mother’s hand-me-down, hefty Cuisinart food processor for more years than i care to mention. It still worked, but the thought of fetching this heavy thing from a cabinet was sometimes too much to bear. She also gave me an ancient Braun immersion blender that behaved like a giant magnet on any bowl or pot whenever it came in contact with the bottom. Both were heavy, with limited accessories, and neither will probably ever die.But i yearned for a lighter processor and when i found this all-in-one device with so much functionality i knew my old devices would be headed out to Goodwill. Sorry mom.The all-in-one parts sit atop a stand that keeps all the accessories together and easily accessible. Every aspect seems sturdy, though truly only time will tell. The processing bowl’s 6 cup capacity large enough for my needs as a simple home cook, the blender motor powerful enough to handle anything i’ve tried to process. The variety of attachments are meeting all my needs. When using the processor bowl you’l find the feeder in the lid is actually 2 parts that can accommodate both larger and smaller foods. To date, this Breville has easily kneaded pie and pasta dough, riced steamed cauliflower, mashed potatoes, whipped cream, sliced veggies (the designers were clever and added a method to adjust the size of the slices), made sauces velvety and apples saucy, blended smoothies, and aerated eggs for light, fluffy omelets. It even helped me make my grandmother’s signature chopped liver. And never once has the immersion blender acted like a giant magnet. Well, maybe a small one.One size never fits all, but for me the innovation in the plastics, motor and design make for a single excellent appliance that allows me to more easily prepare meals for family and friends.

I used the food processor blade to chop an onion and a few cloves of garlic several times during the week or so I owned it. No complaints there, or with the whisk (used to make two drinks), or with the masher (also twice). What’d I’d consider extremely light use.Tonight as I was slicing salami (for the second time, same salami I tested it with when I first got it and it was impressively fine) and cheese (plain old regular cheddar cheese) it broke. The gear box popped out entirely as the piece that goes down through the lid into the spindle fell off. Looks like it was just glued on or something. There’s no obvious break, the spindle is fine, the gearbox looks fine.I mostly bought this to chop onions and garlic and occasionally slice salami/cheese/onions for pickled onions. I have a full-sized processor and a mandoline — I wanted this because it was easy, convenient, a multitasker, and lightweight. I never even got to try the grater or the actual immersion blender head.I’m disappointed, but reading other reviews I guess it’s not that uncommon. I tried to see if I could order a new lid from their website but it went to a “not found”. I guess I’m in the market for some chainmail gloves.

I got this as a family Christmas present. I have not done too much with it yet:- Chopping is a breeze for carrots and for celery- Cleaning was also a snap due to easily being disassembled for easy hand/dishwasher cleaning.- The unit storage is amazing and I did away with a full size and a small sized food processor and replaced my two hand mixers wit this one.The storage base:- Stand up all the items and stacks the grater and the slicer on the main storage space- Whisk that people mention – you can store that in two pieces: One (the whisk base) in the processor bowl, and the second (the actual whisk piece)in food pusher for the processor.- The unit is self contained and proudly sits on my counterHand Mixer and Processor Bowl- The hand blender itself is comfortable to hold and feels very high quality.- The processor gear box comes off the processor bowl easily to ensure that you can put it in the dishwasher easily without wearing out the gears- The bowl itself is very good quality plastic and feels very well builtAdded bonus: I got rid of a large potato ricer as this unit comes with a potato masher. There is a similar one on the market for around $60 on it’s own, so all in all this unit seems to be a great buyCon: No hand blender specific cup/bowl is included. Both my previous ones had a cup for the hand blender to mix/crush in. At least I was able to save one of the two older cups as this unit fits inside there

I definitely can’t fault Breville on the versatility, power, or quality of this device — all are (so far) outstanding, and it performs admirably at all of the functions I’ve tried. However, several parts of it are marked “do not wash,” despite being parts that (in my experience — maybe I’m just a messy cook) frequently need washing. Thus far I’ve just washed them anyway without using running water and it’s been fine, so NBD I guess, just more complicated than anticipated. Otherwise cleanup is not bad — most of the parts clean pretty easily by hand (haven’t tried dishwasher). The engineers who designed this definitely had better spatial reasoning skills than I do, so figuring out how all the parts fit together (sometimes for use but mostly for storage) is its own little puzzle (consulting the user guide helps =p), but also not a huge issue, particularly once you’ve done it a few times.Overall a good and well-performing product, just slightly more complex to clean and store than expected.

Debated hard which brand to get and I am so happy I chise Breville. Design is well taught out and fanstastic. It’s easy to clean and store. Love the rubber addition for easier manipulation. I regret not buying earlier. It’s been about a month and there is nothing to complain about.

I saw this beast on Mind of Chef and *needed to have it*. I kept it in my cart until it went on sale and got it for a great price. So happy with it! The mashed potato attachment is quite fun. I plan to make all my baby food using this. It is so much nicer to clean than the usual processor with the blade at the bottom—no worries about food being stuck in crevices.

There is no storage for the whisk, and there is no accessory to blend dough but aside of these minor negative points, it’s just awesome!! Much more convenient than bigger ones and as powerful, even more than the big Kitchen Aid!! I just love it!!

A++ Work as expected. Still working after 2 years and 8 month of use. Bowl has warped when putted in bottom rack of diswasher but still working.

Another good product by Breville. It just seems like they could’ve provided more space to store some of the attachments. Also seems a bit under powered compared to other hand immersion blenders, however it is strong enough for my daily use.

We’ve only had the unit for a couple of weeks, but are becoming concerned. The first time I used it I accidentally dropped the small & large food pusher (they fit together) and the large pusher broke. Breville Service replaced immediately @ no charge.Several days later, my wife noticed that the motor didn’t always run when pressing the power switch. Breville immediately paid for return shipping and sent a new motor unit.

Great quality, some of the attachments are unnecessary. Food processor could be better, I expected it to purée more.
