I bought this wonderful waffle maker, just so I can taste this new spicy chile maple syrup Parker’s Real Maple Syrup, Spicy Chile Infused, 16 Ounce Tin. I insisted to use Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix, Buttermilk Complete, 50 Serving Box, but to do that I had to get a waffle maker that could get hot enough to make a “classic” waffle, which is what Aunt Jamima mix–a proven brand of 128 years (!)–needs. The cheaper waffle makers really mean Belgian waffles, which are thinner and don’t require as much heat.The result is perfection.

I cannot put into words how much I LOVE waffles. My mom used to make us waffles with the old fashioned waffle iron and it symbolizes love and home for me. My husband and I decided to get this waffle makers as a gift to each other and it is my new favorite thing EVER. Since we’ve purchased it I think I’ve made waffles a million times. I made 2 double batches of Belgium waffles for my extended family’s Christmas Eve dinner and everyone loved them. This thing is SO easy to use. The recipe it comes with is very similar to my mother’s (just add a splash of vanilla) and make sure you whip those egg whites into really stiff peaks. Don’t over fold them into the batter. Trust me on this.We purchased the tongs in the picture above and that really helps to get the waffles out easier. The maker comes with a cup to help pour the right amount on each side. I use a small spatula to spread it around. Then you just close the lid, after having selected the Belgium setting (or whatever you’re making – get the book Will it Waffle – you won’t be sorry!), turn the dial to select how light or dark you want your waffle (1 or 2) is best and it automatically senses how long it should cook. It beeps, you open it up and take out your waffles. Its magic. You don’t have to spray it with Pam or anything.Its SOOO easy to clean up too. I just take a damp rag while its still hot (but like waiting maybe 15 minutes) and just wipe it down. Then you’re ready to go again! The maker stays on our counter full time and that’s not something I do lightly. I like my countertops clear. But this baby STAYS put.Well worth the money.

Yes the breville waffle maker I truly was expecting a lot more from breville a top brand in the world of kitchen appliances I bought this product based on re iews and I am so disappointed in it it does not emit enough heat to fully cook your waffles in one toss waffles remain uncooked and I have to do them a second time to even get them to a state where you can eat where did those glowing reviews came from itcertainlydoes not live up to them I am so frustrated that I trusted the brand breville its topin price but not a quality buy this type of waffle maker and you would regret it I’m just saving you the dissspointed that I endure a cheaper waffle maker might be the answer not breville I now have to look for a another brand not satisfied at all.

SO far so good.Pro: The build quality seems good, and it heats evenly. Makes waffles. Also makes delicious hash browns.Cons: The settings (buttermilk, chocolate, etc) are not explained anywhere, so there is no way to know if they change time, heat or both. THAT would be very useful to know. Also “custom” setting is not explained, and doesn’t make sense- you would expect to be able to set it, right?. There are recipes in the manual that relate to the settings, but if you use different recipes you’l have to guess. It’s not rocket science: just keep checking until they’re done.

This does a really nice job, and cooks evenly. The non-stick is ok – it takes a little effort to remove if you don’t pre-spray first. My main “complaint” to keep this from being five stars is when the batter overflows, it has a “moat” to catch it, but it’s not the easiest to clean as the tray does not come out. So all you can do is wipe it out, you can’t really put it in the sink as the main components would be exposed to the water. There are other designs out there that do allow you to remove the tray to wash, and that would be nice. But for what it’s supposed to do, it does a nice job and has multiple settings that are helpful.

This is a great waffle maker, but it comes at a very high price. It has all of the bells and whistles, but I think some of the controls are a bit redundant and some of them like “custom” are not fully explained. Build quality is very good and there is adequate spill control. These are deep waffles so if you are using a mini waffle maker like the Dash, you will need to add about twice as much batter to each waffle section.

This is an amazing waffle iron. What surprised me was that you don’t have to wait for the iron to reheat after you’ve removed one batch of waffles before you pour in the next. So, its very fast.and you can adjust and fine tune the darkness or crispness to come out just as you like. And its non-stick though I use a minimal amt of oil. Easy to clean and doesn’t take much space. Love this waffle iron!

I am so impressed on the performance of this machine. First waffle perfect , second waffle perfectly done also . Every set of waffles were toasted on the outside ,fluffy on the inside. At first I thought it was a yeast mix and that’s why they came out so good , but next I made regular waffle mixed , put in spinach and grated cheese and diced mushrooms and got the same results. Nothing ever sticks and I haven’t used a spray on it. I am so glad I invested the money on this one. Hopefully it will be my last.

With the right recipe (I got mine from my favourite youtube channel), the waffles come like store-bought. The machine itself is very, very easy to use: just rotate the on button to the desire mode and wait until is hot. The overflow feature is very nice, although, it does still requires you to not over fill it because it can still spill. To get the perfect waffles, you may need to give several trials to the different settings, this is normal for every appliance. You can do big batches (10-20 waffles at once) and freeze them. The machine needs about 12-15 minute to heat up for the first time, once it reached it, it can keep going, that is why it is easier to do big batches (it probably saves energy as well).

OK, I can’t say for sure how long it will take for this to pay for itself, not needing to eat out for a good waffle, but it has improved our quality of life in an almost magical way. We made waffles with Bisquick, we made vegan waffles with no eggs and we made high protein waffles with extra egg and half bean flour. They came out perfect every time. It’s low effort as it times itself and beeps when done. We got the two slice to save on initial cost and it works for us, but a large family might be wiser to get the four slice as they cook for over five minutes at a time. I want to add that the waffles are each a perfect size to just fit in a toaster slot and are so firmly made that they can be frozen and toasted at a later date.

We have used it three times since we received it from Amazon. Unlike another brand we had, this one is easy to keep clean. The concept off the moat around the perimeter works to control batter seepage. he standard setting produced waffles a little to dark for our preference, but the darkness controls worked just fine. The only issue, and it is very minor, is the top of the waffle gets a bit more brown than the underside.

Beyond Amazing Waffles. Easy to use, no spray or oil needed before preheating. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Wonderful to use as a breakfast or bedtime snack for hungry kids! With the lock in place, I store in cupboard in the upright position.

We really try to limit the number of single purpose small appliances in our place, but this one is totally worth it! It can be a bit difficult/time consuming to clean, like all waffle makers are. The measuring cup that is included is very accurate; 1/2 of that measuring cup (marked on the cup) is the perfect amount of batter for one waffle (one side of the waffle maker). I also appreciate the ‘reservoir’ or ‘moat’ around the outside of the waffle area, just in case you pour too much batter in. I am really happy with this waffle maker, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves waffles! I get that it is a little on the pricey side, but it is a hefty, well-made appliance that makes amazing waffles.

I purchased other waffle makers in the past and hated them… mainly because they are hard to clean and spill all over the place. I have never seen a better made waffle maker. Easy to clean, lots of settings to make the perfect waffle every time. It may be more expensive than others on the market, but it’s worth every penny…. quality machine that makes quality waffles….
