BISSELL, 2554A • CrossWave Cordless Max All in One Wet-Dry Vacuum Cleaner and Mop. I’ll start out by saying this is a great vacuum all by itself. It vacuums as well as almost all other premium brands on the market both floor and carpet. It’s very maneuverable but it takes a little extra force to push it compared to other brands. However that didn’t present too much of a problem. The water solution cleaning feature also performed well. It did clean up regular messes decently. However I did find tough stains to be a problem to get rid of. I won’t blame the machine because scrubbing by hand the stains could not be removed either. This machine is for general dry/wet cleaning.I checked on the cost of replacement Bissell floor/carpet solution and it can become pricey at 10-20 dollars depending on formula and amount, so keep that in mind. The machine is easily taken apart for complete cleaning. I appreciated that because that will save on the life of the machine and less fuss.The biggest draw back I have is the 30 minute charge. It takes 4 hours to recharge to get 30 minutes. If you have a large home to clean this is not practical. This machine is more for smaller situation cleaning and or smaller areas. This machine is pricey at almost $400. I did receive this machine for free for an honest evaluation. I ask myself would I fork out that much money to buy one after trying it. I would honestly say no because the the battery charge life situation. If it lasted an hour and the charge time was much less, I would endorse it 100 % but as it is I can only give it 3 stars.That being said this Bissell crosswave wet/cry cordless vac does work and vacuum very well.

Useless! I would’ve been furious had I spent money on this. I like Bissel and I have several of their products including their carpet cleaning products. So I was really looking forward to getting this cleaner. I started off by giving it a full charge and following directions to add the cleaner and water. I primed it for 10 seconds as they recommend. First they tried it on a fresh stain on the rug. I went over and over and over that area using plenty of solution. It barely touched it. So I thought OK maybe it’s just better for floors so I tried it on my kitchen floor. It’s seem to pick up some debris that was on the floor, and it look like it was getting the floor wet but I didn’t really see it getting the floor clean. After looking and doing the entire kitchen floor, I looked at the dirty water bin and it was completely empty! So I looked at the manual and Bissell has a text-support and it was early enough so I tried texting Bissell for support. I got a response that they were overburdened at the moment and it was going to take a while. That was an hour ago. Stay away from this it will do nothing for you. So disappointing

Upgraded from the corded version and find this so much better! Count my cleaning time by 50%1-no cord2-bigger cleaning roll3-self cleaning after use

We have mostly hardwood floors with area rugs. We also have two cats so we clean the floors often to vacuum fur and clean any hairballs or other pet messes. This works well on both the hardwood and the rugs, it switches easily back and forth between the two surfaces. Does a nice job vacuuming and cleaning up any messes you run into as you go. The cordless feature allows you to easily clean your whole house without having to recharge. It’s also really easy to clean the roller and empty the dirty water.

I’d like to give this a complete 5 stars, however, there is a higher pitched whirring noise that comes from the brush area I believe. I’m not sure if this is a normal noise but given how it has cleaned so far, I’m going to go with I can live with it.It feels sturdy and with after cleaning care and maintenance, I think it will last a while. I’d like to see more power from the battery. This model is cordless which swayed part of my decision to buy.The price could be better.So far, it has a done a fantastic job of cleaning the downstairs floors and the smaller carpets around the house.

I’ve been using the bissell crosswave for a little over 2 months now with pets and young children. 2500 square feet of a mixture of tile, hardwood, rugs and laminate. I am so friggin impressed with this thing! It picks up everything! It picked up a nightgown that my daughter tossed in its path. Seriously it’s so convenient. It cuts my cleaning down considerably being able to vaccum and mop at the same time. Not to mention being able to move from room to room without a cord to plug in. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesnt like high pile carpet. Which is really hard to find in a vaccum. It does just about everything else. And the self cleaning cycle is even more impressive! For us clean freaks this is the perfect tool!

I really wanted to love this. It is just ok. I will continue to use it.It does everything that it advertises, but a bit disappointed in how the floor looks when it it done.I have laminate floors, so other floor surfaces may be different. I love how I don’t have to sweep and then mop–the vacuum is good (doesn’t replace a regular vacuum for carpets, but does well on rugs). However, I see streaks that are left on the laminate floor. I mainly notice in a few rooms where the light hits just right. The streaks are less if I continuously hold down the spray button–when I hold it down to go forward, and release it when I pull back, the streaks are a lot worse.Otherwise it is a great thing to have. I have 2 kids and 2 dogs. I use it every few days or when I see a spot on the floor.It is light and moves well.The 30 minute charge has not been an issue at all.It is light and easy to pick up. The clean canister is easy to refill and the dirty canister is easy to empty. It steers well.It came with samples of 2 different solutions (that could make a difference in the streaks).Could I do a better job washing the floor on my hands and knees? Of course! Do I have time to do that? No way. This will have to do for me.

When you vacumm and clean the floor at the same time the dirt and hair sticks to the roller and you have to stop and pull it off with your hand. You have to do this several times while cleaning your floor! The hair and dirt is deposited on the floor again if you don’t! The collector container traps the hair and dirt and water. It is totally gross! You can’t dump all this down the drain??? You ave to take it outside and dump it then clean it out with a paper towel and then rinse it out in the sink!! I don’t consider this self cleaning?? I find this a totally useless item. I could vacumm and then mop my floor much quicker and with less work!! At $600.00 this item is incredibly expensive! It doesn’t work like they say it does! IT IS NOT SELF CLEANING!!
